Surprised that everything closes by 8pm, the weather was fantastic but very expensive (food, sightseeing etc). Public transportation is a good way to travel around. Rottnest Island was extremely expensive, half the island closed due to road works, but the Quokka's were adorable.

Lovely vibe to the area. Lots to see and do. Head to ginos for a great breakfast and coffee. The prison is very close and worth a trip or two. Running with thieves is another great experience. Uber works very well there. All in all a great couple of days. The whale watching trip was well worth it.

Great small town with everything you need and central located to see the sights. The bakery has a queue at the door for 7.00am opening for good reason. Take a trip to Busselton and the pier train ride. The Servo in Cowtown has a great selection of beer. Too many wineries to mention. If you have time go south.

Albany is one of our favourite places to visit.

Albany is one of our favourite places to visit. It has just abou t everything you need for a good holiday. Magnificent scenery, great fishing, lovely beaches close by, and the town itself has not been ruined by developers. A lot, if not most of the original buildings still remain and is full of history, and if ever you need a good breakfast you'll find Dylans cafe on Stirling Terrace hard to beat!

I was served by some very helpful retail assistants/business owners. Traffic and parking was very manageable It was delightful to just sit in the car and watch the mood of the ocean and just breath beautiful fresh salt air. I was convalescing so I ate in several cafes but mainly bought prepared meals from the supermarkets which had a huge, healthy variety. Children had gone back to school, so getting about was very easy. I travelled up to Northampton (3 pubs, 2 cafes on the main street) and down to the mouth of the Greenough River. Both great little trips to fill in half a day.
