SingaporeThe personal touch to welcome the guests, the personalised service at breakfast, the tastful and detailed decor of the whole place to create a warm and elegant ambience, it reminds one of the time of Raffles hotel in Singapore. Breakfast was personally served by David, who was the chef and housekeeper, keeping the whole guesthouse (a heritage building) clean! Tim, the owner was just as welcoming, showing us the property and gardens.
If you like a clean, quiet, and homely place, look no further. Even the garden grounds are very tastefully done up. There's also a cottage for families and the king bedroom, which are very tastefully decorated by Lucy, Tim's wife, who has a keen eye for details!

While I didn't actually end up staying overnight, I still wouldn't hesitate to rate this hotel highly based on what I experienced. The lady at reception was absolutely lovely and accommodating, real angel. I came in huffing & puffing with stress and a short timeframe, but she made everything super easy and simple. The room itself was perfectly set up, modern, clean, and the WiFi was great. While there wasn't a dedicated work desk in my particular room, there were two chair and table set-ups that completely sufficed. Would definitely stay again in the future!

Perfect Venue, very relaxing and enjoyable. Was very quiet and couldn't hear nearby Villas. We had a relaxing coffee in the morning looking across the paddock areas. The Villa was a very premium feeling, styled really well and had everything you needed for a short stay.

Bowral is a beautiful town with many leafy trees and...
Bowral is a beautiful town with many leafy trees and gorgeous gardens. Very quiet with great shopping and a lovely swimming pool local for everyone to relax at. Surrounded by many great places in easy driving distance. Gardens and tree lined streets are breathtaking. Unfortunately the beautiful Carousel Museum wasn’t open at the time of my visit this time but will definitely return to visit there once reopened in February.

I love Mittagong, a town that feels like you are really part of the Highlands.
The community is friendly and the local pubs are full of characters up for a chat at the end of the day - its cool / cold in Winter and makes you feel alive. A beautiful town.

Great coffee and food at local cafes and staff very friendly. Great meal at George's restaurant at Osborn House. Lovely lunch and visit to Bendoorly Wine Estate at Berrima only 25 mins drive. Great views in the national Park just down the road from our hotel. Nice visit to Red Cow Garden at Sutton Forest but a few weeks later and we'd see more Spring colours in the garden.

The best thing about Moss Vale is that is close to Bowral (~10 mins by train or 20 mins by bus). Also the main XPT train line makes it accessible from Sydney, Canberra, and even Melbourne (9 hours..)

Marulan is an interesting little historic village about 30kms from Goulburn. There are a number of quaint little stone buildings with information boards about their history and current use. We ate both lunch on Saturday and dinner on Sunday night at The Terminus Hotel, food quite good and open wood fire a real bonus!
We met a few of the locals and they are incredibly friendly and helpful.
Marulan is probably not somewhere I would have considered visiting, but my husband and I were attending a motorcycle course at the local Pheasant Wood Circuit and were pleasantly surprised by what a cute and interesting little place it is. Well worth a look if you're travelling between Sydney and Goulburn and want a meal of cup of coffee.

Love the relaxing and comfortable ambience of the accommodation and the surrounding gardens - quiet spots to sit and enjoy the wildlife and a glass of wine. The garden areas were natural, not manicured. If you're looking for a resort style stay this is not the place but they are not trying to be. Our room was rustic, comfortable (bed, linen, couches...) relaxing and clean with thoughtful touches, bottled water, chocolates and a wide selection of teas. Loved that the windows could open to let in fresh air. Having a cafe on site for breakfast and lunch was so convenient. Had breakfast here twice and all choices were tasty. We look forward to returning to recharge again in the future!

one of the best motels we have stayed in ,room a bit dated but very clean,the whole experience was very good. we were thinking of changing our travel plans to stay there again hotel food was very good and a fair price loved it!!

It’s a small tourist location with some great places to eat...
It’s a small tourist location with some great places to eat and visit. The Old Cheese Factory - now shops - has one shop in particular which has literally anything you could name. There is also The Illawarra Fly and the Robertson Pie Shop.

Beautiful stay: Stunning scenery perfect to disconnect, spotless rooms, caring team, amazing food, spa and swimming pool (check seasons), fire pit, 6 kms of walking trails. Canyonleigh Retreat is a dream escape, a true gem!
