All the necessities from bathroom, kitchenette and iron and ironing board, hangers and so much more are provided and everything was thoughtfully planned. Loved the out door space behind the room where you can sit and relax too. Jason was friendly and very nice and made the check in so seamless that we just made the payment through phone and just walked into the rooms. Truly amazing place and I would highly recommend to anyone who wants a memorable experience.

I had a wonderful stay at Shoal Bay Holiday Park! The tent was clean and well-maintained, making for a comfortable experience. Being close to nature, I stepped out of the tent at night and was greeted by a sky full of stars. Plus, having the convenience of parking my car right next to the tent was a great bonus. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway.

We had a fantastic stay in Nelson Bay! The room was beautifully decorated and the bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep after a day of exploring. The availability of parking space outside the hotel was a big plus.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Nelson Bay.

Love the nature environment. The BBQ pit is great and we utilised for 2 nights. The cottage is small and cozy. The toilet is clean although is kind of cold in winter, but it has warm light which helps. Anthony recommended us a near by place to watch whale migration, and this is just amazing and unforgettable experience.

We really liked the accommodation. It was very comfortable and the location right by the sea was excellent. There are great hiking trails nearby and the centre of Prost Stevens/Nelson Bay is not far away. If we didn't live so far away, we would love to come back often.

I loved everything, the apartment was really nice, fully furnished, makes me feel at home :). It was so close to the beach and from coffees and shops. And, the team was really welcoming and so nice. I can only highly recommend it.

Nelson's bay is a beautiful location to relax anjoy the water . Great for all ages with plenty of options - boating, swimming , snorkelling , walking and socialising at cafes.
Highly reccommend going on a dophin cruise as its great way to not only see the dophins but to see the harbour and surrounds, also good for solo travellers to enjoy.

We had a lovely and relaxing stay at this beautiful resort. The swimming pool is absolutely stunning — designed like a winding river that flows gracefully around the property, creating a peaceful and unique atmosphere.
Unfortunately, our apartment was on the wrong side of the “river pool,” where there were no steps or ladders to get out easily. Since the pool wall is about 1.3 meters high, it was quite a challenge for us — elderly people , jumping out was more than difficult!

We liked our villa, very comfortable, the camp kitchen was the best we have seen. The grounds and amenities were great, reception staff very friendly.
We did not find anything to complain about.
We had some great meals close to the holiday park. Easy walking to the shops in the Main Street .

The property does not deserve a 8.1 rating. Could not use the shower or the air conditioner due to there below poor condition, including foul smell. Beds were terrible. Motel was cramped with terrible parking. It was a very unpleasant stay, we couldn’t wait to leave.

I liked that we had the beach so handy, even though it was winter, and hubby played putt putt, and we enjoyed a hit of tennis. We were warm and cosy in our cabin, but I would like to visit in Spring or Autumn when its a little warmer to have BBQ's and sit outside at the Cafe. Overall a nice spot to stay, and handy to other activities, amenities and sightseeing.

Loved the location of Bannisters which is right across the road from the Bowling Club and down below Bannisters is the sailing club where you can get a coffee overlooking the water. There are quite a few restaurants nearby and Holberts Prawn and Oysters are a few minutes drive away.

Karuah was a great place to get to and experience what it has to offer. Access was easy for everything. The RSL offered a good array of meals and the price was reasonable. I note that there was also a Pizzeria in Karuah - maybe we will try that next time.

Stop the people drinking & smoking in groups outside their room entrances, not backing in utes to sit on back & booze & smoke, should have assigned area for that not close to next units entrance. Have been coming to same motel for 20 years & always been good, but really needs some control, should not have to wade past groups of drinkers to get to your car & door.

We love taking our dog on holiday with us - so Anna Bay has a big dog friendly beach which also has shallow end. The "locals" were all really friendly, relaxed and gave helpful suggestions.
Good pub , pizza place, fish n chips n hamburger joint.

The location was good with nearby beaches, cooling trees and a soothing atmosphere. The cabin was just enough for a family of four. Local Coles nearby for shopping.
Koala shores had a lovely pool where kids could swim 🏊 and a 🍖 bbq area where we can use for dinner.
