Property is perfect with modern whiteware. The property was clean, modern, spacious, and so very comfortable and quiet. Fantastic location with a great outlook and friendly, welcoming lovely staff. We arrived early and a very helpful housekeeper opened up the laundry room so we could store our luggage until checkin. Marg on reception was also very helpful and nothing was a bother. The motel is only a minutes walk to the bay with amazing scenic views. Shops, cafes and restaurants are within walking distance too.
The room was immaculate and the bed and pillows very comfortable. There were cold glasses in the fridge and water, milk tea,coffee available from reception every day.

we all enjoyed breakfast each day on our balcony the breakfast was one of the best we have had full English & fresh fruit there was tea coffee biscuit's fresh orange in the fridge with camembert cheese & biscuit's milk etc to finish sparkling wine & chocolates for our enjoyment

Caboolture is a lovely area and we only stayed for the weekend, but we are very interested in staying in the area longer next time for a holiday. There were many beautiful parklands around where we stayed and easily accessible shops and facilities within the area too.

We love Bongaree.... fantastic RSL, beautiful views, very relaxed place to visit. The seaside museum is awesome & it's free. Great little shops, cafés, safe swimming.
We have noticed that it's certainly becoming busier than it used to be.....but understandably, it's a great spot.
Bongaree caravan park is a nice place to stay with cabins available too. Try to get a spot away from the main road as it will be much quieter without traffic noise.

Tangalooma was beautiful.
Tangalooma was beautiful. The dolphin feeding was a wonderful experience however it was very long for small kids.
It was extremely clean , great service and prices for food were reasonable.
The pools were clean and getting updated , great sunbeds and a lot of activities. Truly stunning experience.
We also did the illuminated boat tour and the hosts were so friendly and knowledgeable. The snorkelling was great but we did see some tourists get into trouble and need to be rescued by my husband. I was surprised there wasn’t a life guard.

Be prepared for the fact that the breakfast is in a cafe attached to the Hotel, there is no buffet breakfast. The Cafe is very pleasant, overlooking the water. Have a good map of the North Lakes precinct or be familiar with the maze of very narrow, very busy roads that you will need to negotiate.

Didn't have a chance to do much outside of our reason to be there (Funeral/wake). Up from the Goldie/arrived in time to have lunch and check-in/after wake had a short walk on the beach at sunset then dinner at the restaurant. By 8.30 the next morning we were on the road again as we had commitments at Kallangur and the Tweed!

Was there for a concert at Sandstone Point Hotel but stayed at Woorim (15 minute drive to SPH) for the beach location / access and great views to Moreton Island. Quick walk to cafes, shops and the patrolled beach.

We needed space for 4 adults close to the airport. This served us well. We found Kallanger very easy.
Altogether it was a positive experience and heartily recommend it for other's in the same boat.

Scarborough is the prettiest part of the Redcliffe...
Scarborough is the prettiest part of the Redcliffe Peninsular. Beautiful beach aspect looking out to Moreton Island and further around, views across to glass House Mountains. Great coffee and restaurants in shopping area. Recommend the Marina and the Moreton Bay Boat Club for good value meals and pleasant location looking out over luxury boats and the water.

Redcliffe is great for a couple of nights but has limited options for decent food/drink at night.
The walk along the beach will never get old though.
Generally recommended for a short relaxed stay with minimal aggravation.
