We really enjoyed our time at Meekatharra Motel & Restaurant. The rooms were neat and well-kept, the staff was warm and welcoming, and the restaurant served fresh, tasty meals. Everything was well arranged, and there was nothing to complain about. Definitely recommend this place to other travelers.

I was served by some very helpful retail assistants/business owners. Traffic and parking was very manageable It was delightful to just sit in the car and watch the mood of the ocean and just breath beautiful fresh salt air. I was convalescing so I ate in several cafes but mainly bought prepared meals from the supermarkets which had a huge, healthy variety. Children had gone back to school, so getting about was very easy. I travelled up to Northampton (3 pubs, 2 cafes on the main street) and down to the mouth of the Greenough River. Both great little trips to fill in half a day.

We love Kalbarri. It's our favourite "go to" place in WA.

We love Kalbarri. It's our favourite "go to" place in WA. The coast lookout spots are fantasic, my favourite is Pot Alley. The Skywalk in Kalbarri National Park is a "must" to visit. Kalbarri is easy to get around. Most places in town are in walking distance. We had lunch at Gilgai Tavern. The food was fresh, very tasty and Mine Host and Hostess were very friendly and helpful. We ordered a takeaway Pizza from the Kalbarri Hotel and it was the worst pizza we have ever had! We also had takeaway from Buddha's Bites situated in the Palm Resort which was quite OK but I think dining in would be a better option.

Dongara is an ideal stopping place driving up from Perth if you find more than say 350km a day too much. The town itself has grown over the years and coupled with Port Denison next door has a lot of attractions nearby if you want to stay a few days. For instance Greenough historical town site, Walkaway town site and Ellendale Pool to pick a few at random. All worth calling to see if you've never been to this part of WA before. Of course the Dongara bakery is a "must stop at" place for cakes and tempting treats.

I would not recommend this property to anyone, is disgusting, they need big renovations or they need to be knocked down, they have curtains on the doors for the bathroom. the head board for the bed is painted, overall the furniture is disgusting the furniture is old and the rooms are not even a 1 star they are terrible.

port denison / dongara has a very laid back feel to the place, there are numerous beaches that offer protected swimming but there are limited shops but enough around to offer a good choice of coffee & cakes, and a few different take away options. plenty of grassed area in the Port Denison bay area and it seems a number of the caravan parks have jumpy pillows for the kids

Had a terrible night's sleep due to the very soft mattress.

Had a terrible night's sleep due to the very soft mattress. Was only a double bed up against the wall, therefore only one bedside cupboard, no microwave or toaster. We expected a much better room for $200!

Horrocks is a beautiful quaint town.

Horrocks is a beautiful quaint town. As I drove over the hilll and caught a glimpse of the beautiful ocean, I was a fan. A small seaside town with friendly people. I asked what I should be doing in Horrocks. “Relaxing, “ was the reply.

Geraldton is a quaint little town with a few retail gems!

Geraldton is a quaint little town with a few retail gems! The beaches are outstanding and the people generally friendly. Public transport / taxi's are a challenge and accommodation is as rare as hens teeth! If planning a trip get in really early! The Emerald Room has fantastic offerings, although the Dome on the beachfront has a great menu and the best views.
