United KingdomStraight away the staff were welcoming and super helpful when it came to recommending activities and places to eat nearby. The hotel itself is beautifully kept, lovely gardens and pool areas. The vibe is immaculate and the music in the public areas is chill and relaxing. The rooms are clean, quiet and airy with good aircon systems keeping cool in the heat. As I mentioned in my booking it was for me and my mum’s birthdays, they contacted me to see if I would prefer split beds which was so helpful. When we arrived to our room it had been made up with a birthday display which was an amazing welcome!! So thoughtful. The food and drinks at the Conti bar are really good, especially the fish tacos and margaritas. Breakfast menu is small but nice too with something for all tastes including veg, vegan and gluten free. We had a small issue with our fly screen coming off the bathroom window and within 10 mins of us mentioning to reception, it was being fixed which is exceptional customer service. Location is great just a small walk to town beach and the jetty, across the road from Matso’s brewery and the bus stop outside takes you all around Chinatown and cable beach. Would definitely stay here again!

Exceptional service by all staff, everyone we passed by had a huge smile and greeting for us. Didn't have a bad meal the whole time we were there. Plenty of activities to keep us occupied between lounges by the pool. Cichetti for dinner was absolutely delicious, can highly recommend the gnocci served with beautiful Wilyabrup wines. We ordered the lunch hamper for Christmas day and it was a bargain for $99 filled with prawns, smoked salmon, salads, loaf of baked bread and heaps more. Our room was clean and comfortable and serviced daily, we had resident wallabies and bungarras walking around and through the grounds. I loved that the bungalows were a good distance apart too. We felt like every effort was made for us and loved our stay. Hope to be back again soon!

A small town but a great spot to travel out to some remarkable locations (Molly springs, Ivanhoe crossing, gorges, gin brewery etc). The trip down the Kununurra river is brilliant and I would highly recommend taking a scenic flight over the Bungle Bungles. The Pump house is the best restaurant in town, but book because it does fill up quickly and for breakfast you must visit the Wild Mango Cafe

Unfortunately Halls Creek is suffering from lack of inspiration! Information Centre not open so no information of the area, it is run down and needs a good lot of help from the WA govt to encourage tourism ... There is a lot to see and the history is amazing. Roads are very poor to the sights people wish to see and explore. Indigenous population friendly and I'm sure with a little encouragement & support many would be able to find employment without the constant "put down" there seems to be!

Derby was a cute town with a lovely art gallery where you can watch the artist at work and learn about other artists in the area.
You can even get a cuppa and cake there.
The sculptures around the town are lovely.
The boab trees are interesting.
We are at the boab inn and the Spinifex. Both were great meals.

The lake views never get old.
The lake views never get old. The staff are helpful and friendly. I highly recommend doing the boat tour and the guide Lukas was knowledgeable and super fun.
The picnic spot down near the discharge into the Ord was peaceful. The pool was great but too cold to enter (im a Territorian 😂). The homestead museum was a highlight with so much nice old memorabilia there. Grassed areas were green and perfect for a walk or to sit and take it all in.
I also recommend going to Kununurra and Wyndham as there's so much history to take in.
I will definitely be back multiple times. Just kicking myself I didn't visit sooner. Don't make my mistake and check it out.

So wonderfully peaceful and remote. We did an amazing 6 hour tour with Bundy and four of his family. Cannot recommend highly enough! Culture and country tour… our eyes and hearts were opened and in awe of the stories and wisdom and the way this land is cared for by the beautiful Bardi Jawa mob.

Not much to Wyndham itself but very interesting area.
Not much to Wyndham itself but very interesting area. You need a 4WD. Recommend the Cambridge Gulf lookout, bird watching, walk to the Grotto and aboriginal cave painting. If you want the things in 4. below then perhaps not.

Everything in the Kimberley is larger than life and this is beyond belief .
Well run establishment which works like clockwork.
Generator runs for limited periods but is off at night
Meals were three course and like dining at a restaurant.

Pick your time to visit carefully.
Pick your time to visit carefully. In wet season many things are closed or do not operate.
If you hire a car a 4 WD Is advised due to some places of interest are on unsealed roads with corrugations.

An excellent place to take short trips from, for example Emma gorge or Wyndham. The town is small but there are some very nice eating spots. Great for fishing, with Barramundi being the fish to catch. I would highly recommend hiring a 4wd then you can get around the town and also explore some great places that are out of town but accessible only by 4WD. But don't panic nearly all the tour operators will pick you up from the place you are staying if you choose not to hire a car. Check the temperature because it can be very hot.
