I felt completely comfortable during my stay at this motel. The staff were exceptionally friendly, warm, and always willing to help. I was especially grateful for the free late check-out and the kind offer to drive me to places, which was a huge relief as I was travelling without a car and it can feel a bit unsafe at night. I also received great advice and support throughout my stay. A big thank you for the fantastic service!

A massive thank you to the staff for all of their help. The food and location are stunning. We loved waking up to the dawn chorus and watching the lightning storm from our lodge on the last night of our stay.
The staff here do everything to make your stay memorable.
Thank you, to the manager for checking us in early, with no issues at all after our early flight. Also particular thanks to Jasmine for looking after us so much during our stay and arranging for us to be transported back to the airport by another staff member after heavy rains made taxis unreliable. Thanks also to Kylie for driving us to the airport. A truly 5 star experience.

CanadaCannot fault our stay at Gorge View Bush Retreat! Carney was the most friendly and welcoming host; nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in one of the glamping tents with our 2 kids (1yr and 3yr) and everyone was really comfortable! The camp kitchen had everything we needed for cooking up a great BBQ and the pool was gorgeous for an early morning swim and cooling off after a day at Edith Falls. Best part, though, was the sunset deck...simply stunning views! If you want a great camping experience with a few home comforts, this is the place. We will definitely be back next time we are back in Katherine!

We stayed in Katherine for one night at Gorge View, had a meal of crocodile and Barramundi at the Katherine Club on O'shea Terrace, next morning went to the Katherine Outback Experience which we thoroughly enjoyed and had lunch at the New Shanghai restaurant. We booked a queen room only the day before.
We booked a queen room only the day before. Check in was at 3pm. We were booked into yellow boats for sunset cruise at 4.30pm which was a 40 minute drive. Requested to get room at 2pm , our queen room was not ready but they offered us 2 doubles. Which we gladly took. Beds awesome. Had a swim in there awesome pool. I had read you must book for the restaurant and this is true. We didn't get back from cruise until 7.45pm as roadworks and husband was pulled over by police random breath test. Thankfully we had booked restaurant as we seen people arriving after 8pm and being turned away. No other food out there really to randomly get. Wish we booked 2 nights one is not enough. It was a room (upstairs) with a bed and a fridge but not much else. The shower's taps were a feet level with nothing to hold on to when stepping in. The plastic plant on the bedside table just took up space. The restaurant was very different - it was welcoming, clean and the food was very nice. Go to Yellow Water Billalong, Ubirr and Nourlangie and definitely visit the waterfalls while you are here. If you don't have a 4WD, book an all day tour and they can take you. We are dinner at the Mercure restaurant. We had breakfast in Jabiru township.Guest review byMichelle CassieAustralia
