The peacefulness of this place. Very comfortable while in the middle of nature. Beach close by. Very clean and comfortable beds. AC working very well. The nice deck in front of the tent to relax in the evenings and in the mornings.

Tranquility and relaxing. The breakfasts were amazing. We had been advised there were limited places for lunch or dinner and to bring supplies. What we did not expect was for Robbie to take the supplies and prepare dinner for us. That went beyond expectations.

It's definitely not your usual stay — instead of the common commodities think dinner by the fire (making both is especially satisfying outdoors), a shower and a bathtub in the jungle, beautiful territory with a creek, trails and lots of animals (we spent 2 mornings with flying foxes). And the bed in our Bower Hut was super comfy. Highly recommend this place as a couples retreat and a nice base to explore the Daintree area. Do note that there is no Wi-Fi in the outer huts, no power outlets and just a couple USB ports for your phones. But sometimes that's a good thing) P.S. Andy and Netty are very nice people, and you'll definitely meet them and their puddle Rufus when you walk to the reception for some Wi-Fi)

A beautifully furnished bungalow, looking into a lovely garden fringed with rainforest and with a glimpse of the sea at beautiful Thornton Beach.. Big blue Ulysses butterflies fluttered amongst the flowers, a cassowary visited at breakfast time. A wonderful bathroom! Friendly owners with great tips for our Daintree sojourn; they even organised wildlife activities.

Stunning location right in the middle if the rain forest, fantastic night tour of the jungle, great food, friendly staff and we were treated to a jam session too! Great location for everyone and especially for solo travelers and nature lovers . Even saw a Cassowary and his baby!

Beautiful and spotless home with everything you could need while on holiday. The host was amazing and quick to reply. Woolworths straight across the road, everything located close by. Kids loved the large backyard too.

We stayed in Greg’s property for 1 night in Oct., 2024. Greg was a very nice and welcoming host, and the lodge was clean. The breakfast was also great! Some of the facilities (e.g. the fridge in our lodge) isn’t fully working due to cyclone Jasper’s damage. However, it was totally understandable as the entire area hasn’t fully recovered from the damage yet, and Greg did his best to make things as comfortable as possible. The free WiFi in room was working and was in reasonable speed. We highly recommend staying in Greg’s property when visiting Daintree / Diwan area!

One of the most special places we’ve stayed at. Charming cottages in the middle of the rain forest, very intimate, good food at the restaurant and Jason being a great host. 9 cassowaries over two days of which one was at the lodge!
