We stayed in a cabin, which had a kitchen, lounge, dining area and one double bedroom, with an ensuite.
Everything was very spacious and light filled.
The bathroom was a great size, with a very large shower and plenty of hot water.
The bedroom was also a great size, had a tv, fan and big wardrobe, with shelving and hangers, an ironing board and an iron.
The kitchen is very well equipped and has a fridge/freezer, microwave and cooktop. Good bench space, with a toaster and jug. Lots of drawers, cupboards and there is a good selection of crockery, cutlery and pots.
Dining table, another Tv, aircon, fan and a lounge suite.
Parking beside the cabin as well.
The owners are lovely and recommended drives to us (the weather wasn't great), with suggestions off the normal tourist track.
There are walks from the park to the surf beach and the quieter beach. There was a coffee van, a swimming pool which can be accessed, playgrounds and a big park. Lots of facilities for campers and caravaners. The park is full of trees, so very shady too.
We found it very quiet and peaceful.
Very short walk to the town centre with a great choice of cafes, bakeries, restaurants and clubs and pubs.
We would definitely return here.

The staff were responsive to our queries via email and we had a smooth experience with Pacific Bay Resort. The rooms were comfortable and spacious enough. The resort location was very close to Charlesworth Beach and our team had no complaints. There was also a breakfast option available which was helpful.

Comfortable, fun, family holiday with everything that was good about family holidays in the 1980s. Kids are off tech for the week and in the pool from the time they get up to the time they kicked out late at night.

The accommodation is not what we expected.
The accommodation is not what we expected. It needed work, cleaning and was very noisy with the trucks along the highway using their brakes.
The shower curtain was moldy, shampoo, condition & soap dispenser had fallen off wall and left on ground. Freezer was dirty, glasses needed to washed & wiped of grime before using. Air-condition in room did not work. Images of room didn't match what the room looked like it was older with dodgy renovation patches.
We got room service from the restaurant that incurred a & $10 fee. The meal of simple chicken burgers was inedible due to the excessive amount of sauce which even after wipe off with serviettes could not be eaten.
On check out we took the meals & advised management. They apologized and said would follow up. No follow up .. disappointing.
Do not stay or eat at this motel.

Safety Beach Bungalows were clean and airy. Close walk to the beach. The location was secluded among a jungle of beautiful plants. The unit, "Mad Duck", was well organized with two bedrooms, one bath and an open area for the kitchen and lounge. With an outside shower to rinse off the sand and two lovely outdoor seating areas, one was a covered deck. Family friendly or just a sweet little spot for a friends adventure.
Woolgoolga is a lovely little town. We walked on the beach all the way into the town. Blue Bottles is a nice little restaurant and there are plenty of shops to see. Plenty of beaches around the area to visit and the Solitary Islands Coastal walk is well worth the time to hike along the shoreline.

We were only there for one night and found the room to be clean and comfortable. We had dinner in the dinning room and found the staff to be friendly and helpful and we both enjoyed our meal.
Although we did not have a problem the stairs leading to our room might be a bit hard for those who have walking/climbing issues.

Great location, quiet and comfortable.
Great location, quiet and comfortable. Well appointed with all you needed. Maybe coffee making facilities would be good for night time needs. Also better dining chairs/table for eating in when alternatives not available. Very happy with our choice of stay.

Couldn't have asked for a better position right on the water...
Couldn't have asked for a better position right on the water and near the boardwalk which unfortunately was under renovation but can't wait to go back when its opened again. An easy getaway for anyone. Got a takeaway from the oriental restaurant which was amazing. Loved the walking path the seats along the way to enjoy the amazing view. Very easy to get around and well signposted. I took a drive out to Bellingen which is amazing. Then continued to Sawtell both a short drive from Urunga and both a beautiful spot for a light meal or a cuppa and cake then back to the serenity of the park to relax with a wine from the local bottle shop.

A lovely self contained studio, easily accessed from the highway. Great stop if travelling to or from Brisbane. V well appointed, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast provisions included, pet friendly, great option for either a short overnight visit or ideal for a longer stay. Access to a fenced garden space making it great for those travelling with pets

It’s a great place for couples or families.
It’s a great place for couples or families. Wonderful spot to stay. Going down to the river and walking across on low tide to the beach is a must. Swimming, snorkelling, great for kids, fishing. Locals are friendly and interested in where you are from. Moonee hotel is great for a meal. Great atmosphere. Shopping centre has everything you need.

Very clean, modern and spacious. Privacy was good though would have appreciated a friendly welcome by hosts. We had our dogs with us and felt we must have been breaking the rules by bringing them due to the stern looks we received from a distance along with the question..."you have dogs?" We just didn't know if they were welcome. Guidelines (if there are any) for pets could be stated on advertising, that would have made us more relaxed. Otherwise I highly recommend the standard of this retreat for a great country get away.
