I loved this place! I only booked for 1 night but I wish I could have stayed longer. The hut is really nice and clean. There are cosy places to sit outside and a small lake where you can swim and enjoy the sun. Breakfast and dinner were great. The people working here are also super friendly. One important thing, you can only reach it by foot in a 1h-hike (if you’re fit in 45 min) so keep that in mind.

Amazing breakfast, a lot of vegan options as well as a la carte eggs in different styles. The food in the restaurant is also really good, far above average and a wide range of choices. There is a very laidback feeling in the hotel, and despite it's not super big, it does not feel crowded at all. Staff was really helpful and friendly.

Everything! One of the best hotel experiences I have had in recent years. This hotel is superb!!!! The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, with a balcony overlooking the mountains. The public spaces and gardens are beautiful and peaceful. There is a large indoor pool that provides spectacular views. The hotel is located in the exact center of this charming village. The staff was extremely gracious and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The hotel provides little extras like bathrobes and free drinks in the room. The hotel is undergoing some renovations. I did not see it as a minus since it did not inconvenience us and instead I think it resulted in a reduced price, making our stay an incredible value.

Great option for a family with children. Spacious room with 4 sleeping places. 2 of them are folded almost invisibly into furniture. Very warm and welcoming atmosphere. At the check in the reception Rita gave us all necessary recommendations on where to go, where to eat, what to try, where to take the children etc. It was extremely helpful. Fresh orange juice for breakfast:)

The location is unbeatable, right at the foot of the mountain with stunning views. The room was spacious and the in-room sauna was a thoroughly enjoyed. The massages were exceptional—some of the best we’ve had in a long time (ask for Adina). Dinner was another highlight (Frans-Josef), offering a new and delicious menu every night. A truly memorable stay!

This is one of those towns you need to keep coming back to. We love GP for a weekend getaway. We always ride the train in and get around by foot (or bus) after we're there. Go in every season...there's always something wonderful to experience.

A beautiful little town in the mountains. There are sooo many choices of where to eat. Walking around oldtown is a treat with the paintings on the buildings, views of the mountains and decisions of where to eat. Oldtown is completely walkable.

What I especially liked, Ehrwald has everything close by: restaurants, cable cars, and beautiful hiking trails. It’s the perfect starting point for tours and enjoying the local cuisine. I ate at Hoisler’s Wirtshaus, on the Ehrwalder Alm, and at Papas Café Bar – all of them were tasty and had a cozy atmosphere. Getting around Ehrwald is super easy. You can take the bus, explore on foot, or drive – everything is well connected. There are lots reat activities for solo travelers: A trip to the highline179 in Reutte, Tyrol was a real highlight – the suspension bridge offers breathtaking views and is easy to reach. While you're there, you can also take in the impressive Ehrenberg castle complex. Ettals main, and only, attraction is the Abbey.

Ettals main, and only, attraction is the Abbey. Which is certainly impressive. You'll most likely visit Ettal for the region, as it is a great point to start your hikes and/or visit Oberammergau and Garmisch-Partenkichen. Munchen and Innsbruck are only an hour drive away.

We usually like to visit Lermoos for a short vacation. The best thing about our one night stay this time was the Sevim Holzofen Pizzeria. Awesome food and such a warm welcome. Unfortunately this time we had a very poor experience staying at 'keyone' accommodation.

Farchant is a great stay if you want to be out of the...

Farchant is a great stay if you want to be out of the busyness of Garmisch-Partenkirchen but not too far away to be a moment away. Great local food and welcoming people, have been coming here for years and plan to return. The atlas hotel has a great restaurant with lots of choice and it’s easy to get to with the train station from Munich or Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

Krun was a beautiful, quiet little town.

Krun was a beautiful, quiet little town. There were shops, restaurants and several supermarkets. Although the main supermarket in town is very popular so can get extremely busy. It was also easy to hire bikes in town, to enjoy the many different trails. The cows (with their bells) going to their milking sheds at 5.30 pm, was always a nice treat.
