Newly renovated hotel with lovely alpine style! The rooms are spacious, and fashioned with elegant wood. The spa is great with a nice outdoor pool from which you can see the mountains. If you love architecture and esthetic spaces this is a hotel for you. Harmony of colours and extrafine woodwork in the smallest details. As centrally located as possible. Beautiful museums only a few steps away, and the lakeside to walk, bike or to take a morning/evening swim. Enjoyed also a walk to the old “upper city” and a boat trip on the lake. Breakfast was Excellent. The staff reserved us our own moment to enjoy it. All products were Local and ecological. The staff talked with us and served us as we were their friends visiting by. Their concept is super sympathetic. Unique, personal and something special. Loved it.

    Close to Bregenz and Bodensee (Lake Constance), perfect location to explore the region without moving your car. Our hotel provided Voralberg card during our stay, so buses/trains are free. Wide selection of nice restaurants are in the centre.

    Quaint village that I wish I’d had more time to explore for walking and nature. We were looking for a local experience as we like to see how people in an area live. We were very happy with our choice to visit and enjoyed authentic Austrian cuisine and lodging while visiting.

    Useful stepping off point for experiencing the Montafon area on foot; or, as a base for exploring Montafon by bus or car. Trains to Tschagguns / Schruns are easy. I went London - Paris (Eurostar) - Zurich (TGV Lyria) - Bludenz - Tschagguns in one day. In Tschagguns I like the the Gasthof Lowen (Austrian food) and Dimis the greek restaurant. The pizza place is fine too but the others are I think the best!

    One of the best ski areas in Europe.

    One of the best ski areas in Europe. Extensive high quality lift system, lots of variation in terrain and piste altitude, difficultly and length. The lift system and pistes are at one with their mountain setting.

    Definitely a place to be there.

    Definitely a place to be there. To discover Vorarlberg it’s the central point, you not far from everything. And Hohenems itself is nice and interesting with a Jewish Museum and some more tourist attractions.

    Cute clean little town flanked by mountains. Pedestrian-only quarters very charming with chic boutiques and smack bakeries/cafes. We did not have enough time to trudle explore the town as our hotel was located in nearby Stallehr. Tip: Fine dining, Golf and RVing in nearby Braz, at Hotel Traube.

    Charming town with amazing views of mountains.

    Charming town with amazing views of mountains. It's a resort town, lots of shops for ski and hike clothing, shoes, apparatus, lots of restaurants. The Kanzelwand cable car to the top of the mountain is great. The church is so lovely, and its bells ring all day (but not all night). We were there in August, hot at home, so cool and refreshing in Riezlern. The views are fantastic in every direction, the air is so clean and fresh, the cows in summer pasture make such beautiful music with their bells. Absolutely loved it!

    We were in Bregenz on the 23rd and 24th of August 2025.

    We were in Bregenz on the 23rd and 24th of August 2025. It was a coincidence that the Hafen Fest was on those days, and I cannot judge what is Bregenz usually like. For us there were too many people on the lake shore... but I know some people love this. The best places for me, must-sees: 1. Pfänderbahn (in good weather) 2. Lake shore (always, but especially at sunset) 3. Old downton (and Uppertown) We went everywhere on foot, and it suited us perfectly well.

    We were only there for a one night stopover.

    We were only there for a one night stopover. Had a walk around to find a dinner and saw there was more to the village than we thought. Found a great Chinese restaurant. The town has all necessary amenities, reasonable prices and very close to Bregenz.
