Der Siegeler is just an amazing hotel, Mike, the owner goes all the way to help and please his clients and the place is just so impeccably clean and so inviting that you wouldn't want to go anywhere else. Lovely breakfast, everything so fresh every day and very filling! The hotel also boasts with Mike's Bar which is really lovely where you can always unwind after a nice dinner with a nice drink before heading to bed! Plenty of parking space for those who come by car and the town of Mayrhofen is just 5 minutes away on foot. Just plenty of things around, so lovely, so relaxing and calming around the Tyrol mountains. I will definitely come back, next time for skiing! :)

Everything was just super. I am not able to find even a small thing that we didn't like. The surroundings is so beautiful, food excellent, rooms very comfortable. Staff is friendly. If you want to go on hiking - all the facilities are near. If you with children - everything is very comfortable. All the day you can spend in the mountains and after that to spend the evening in the pool and to listen to nice music with a glass of wine. Highly recommended :)

The hotel gives the welcome card which is great for free...

The hotel gives the welcome card which is great for free transport. I bought the Innsbruck card as I wanted to do as much as possible and it was well worth the money, several options available and getting it online and onto my phone was very quick and easy. Innsbruck and surrounding villages have so much to offer in so many ways, it’s a great destination with excellent transport links

nice town. Ideal base for early season hike (start of May) in Wilder Kaiser region. Most other places in vicinity are closed as main hiking season hasn't started yet. The local kaiserlift (chair lift) was open so takes you to start of good hikes..

We stopped over for one night on our trip from the Dolomites to Salzburg. I first visited Kitzbuhel in 1970 when I was on a high school trip. I wanted my husband to see what a charming Tyrolean town it is. We really enjoyed ourselves and the hotel was wonderful!

We were traveling by car (there are also ski busses), so visited all nearby skiing locations (you may buy one skipass which will cover all of them). Also I'd recommend great Spa/pool facilities - Erlebnistherme Zillertal

Typical Tyrol town which goes out of it's way to welcome tourists with helpful staff in the tourist office and lots of events. Great centre for walking with buses up and down the valley and a total of four lifts to the high places.

Skying in local Bergwelt Hahnenkamm and nearby Zugspitze Arena. Alpentheme Ehrenberg/Reutte, Ehrenberg Castles with Highline (suspension bridge), Lumagica night light show at the castle (only in winter time). We loved our basic but clean comfy room with a lake view. The breakfast was one of the best we have experienced. Dinner a bit disappointing but we walked in late without a reservation. The spa was very nicea very beautiful space, but the water in tubs and pool could have been a bit warmer. I snuggles in my plush robe and had tea instead and had a lovely time in the spa regardless. There will be a next time! We hope to hike a lot more in the area and take the gondola up the mountain and see the lofty heights.
