Such a friendly run hotel. Nothing was too much to ask. The breakfast spread is wholesome. The location was perfect. Very central and easy to get to town from the hotel. Good mountainbike storage in their garage. I would definitely come again.

Both the hotel and the staff exceeded our expectations. The location is well situated- within 2-3 minutes at the Silvretta-bahn. The rooms are spacious, the spa very fancy and the food was very delicious. Overall a fantastic stay and we would recommend hotel zalwonder to everyone who seeks a great stay in Ischgl.

I would say : 1. perfect host - friendly, open to any need, warm people 2. cleanness - every day change linen, towels (if you choose) 3. very large & conform room, very large bathroom & confortable. All inside is new & modern. 4. sauna enough for the needs - not too large - limited hours 16:00 - 19:30 5. Very good Wi-fi , quiet room (entire region is quiet) 6. I could not have anticipated how great a stay my adult daughter (19) and I would have for our 8 nights at Alpenresidenz Ballunspitze. We had two single rooms, which we quite spacious with bed, desk, bathroom and two separate areas for clothes. The rooms were either recently renovated or immaculately maintained as they could have been new. Housekeeping tidied the room daily and checked soap dispenser etc was full. Location is excellent, one stop on the bus from Silvapark ski resort, 15 minutes on the bus to Ischgl (where we skied most days). (Alpenresidenz Ballunspitze is the second stop heading to Ischgl, so you always get a seat.) It is a short walk to Galtur village centre and supermarket. Breakfast and dinner were included and were fabulous. Breakfast is a buffet, with an amazing selection of muselies, plus cereals, breads, cheeses, cold cuts, bacon, eggs, sausages, yogurts, juices etc. Dinner was appetizer and salad buffet, soup or smoothie, main course (chosen from 6 options), desert and cheese buffet. Everything was delicious. There was also cake, fruit and cold cuts put on each afternoon from 2:30 - 5pm, with plenty for everyone. The staff were all wonderful, friendly and helpful. One final aspect that did not apply for us but looked to be amazing was the way Alpenresidenz Ballunspitze caters for kids. They have activities on every day and every evening, with three or four age groups. This looked to include essentially day care for the littlest ones while the rest of the family ski. There are kids meals, drinks and desserts every night all buffet. So I guess the only time Alpenresidenz Ballunspitze might not suit is if you preferred not to share your stay with many many families and children eg perhaps a honeymoon. Overall an amazing stay, and would totally recommend. Being from Australia not sure if we will be back to Ischgl/Galtur, but if we were we would not want to stay anywhere else. Review by Ben

The hotel is conveniently located a few minutes walk from the gondola station. Our room was very spacious and had plenty of storage space. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spotlessly clean. The food in the restaurant was delicious and extremely well presented and all the staff members we met were very friendly, helpful and professional. The hotel bar area was comfortable and a nice area to relax in after skiing! The hotel pool was lovely and the spa area excellent. The ski/boot room was also of a very high standard and ski passes can be bought at the hotel reception. Ski equipment can be hired at Brundl Sports, opposite the hotel. The hotel even has its own ski guide!

Ischgl is a great resort offering fantastic extensive and varied skiing. Pistes well groomed. The lifts are fast, modern and well maintained. Queues Ok even at half term. Ischgl town is pretty and has large selection of Apres ski bars and restaurants and shops which are very friendly. There is a rule that you cannot wear ski boots between 8pm and 6am which seems to successfully stop hordes of drunken revellers wandering about so the Apres is civilised yet still great fun. There are noticeably more young men than other groups and quite a lot of snowboarders compared to some other resorts like Lech but this was not really a problem for our family. We will be returning.

Kappl is a small village before the bigger and renown village of Ischgl. It is mainly a destination for the winter tourism, endless ski slopes to choose from, breathtaking views of the surroundings. But it has a lot to offer even in summer: many cable cars are active and bring you on top op the mountains where you can start your hike or enjoy the view, they also have an "erlebnispark" (experience park) for kids where they can play, climb on trees, go fishing, jump on the trampoline, etc...`the church of Kappl is also very interesting and rich, there is a very active tourist info point, medical assistance and the village offers several restaurants and cafes.

Galtür is a very family-friendly ski resort with slopes of all difficulties, a fantastic ski school, easy transport to and within the resort, and great restaurants at the slopes. If you need more slopes, the much larger Ischgl is also just a quick bus ride away. The ski bus is occasionally quite packed, but the ride is quick and the bus runs very frequently. You can rent all sorts of outdoor equipment for snowy adventures. There is a large grocery store and also several good to exquisite restaurants. I'd recommend calling and reserving a table at least a day or so before though.

See is a wonderful family ski resort with the option of a short drive to Kappl and Ischgl. Other large resorts are only 45 mins away. There are a number of good restaurants and hotel restaurants and bars. The main gondola is in the centre of the village and takes you up to a snow sure ski area. The run back to the village is an excellent red.

Place for experienced ski/snowboarders to go. Runs are challenging with mainly reds and blacks and the only way down to resort is a red run. Lifts are all very modern and fast with a barely a que anywhere. The resort is pretty expensive with lots of high end luxury restaurants and bars with great food and wine. It is quite a compact resort so probably only takes 20 minutes to walk from one side to the other.

Just believe me- the best service ever!!!

Just believe me- the best service ever!!! We have arrived very late in the night and the receptionist was waiting for us to show the way for one hour outdoor!! She was so kind and really the best service. Even don’t think to go here or nor! 100000% YES! 10 of 10 for service, cleaning, location!

If you want to ski in different ski areas, See is perfect.

If you want to ski in different ski areas, See is perfect. First day we skied in St. Anton, then in Ischgl, on the last day Fiss-Ladis. See has a perfect location for the not so long ride to this ski areas. It is small, but comfortable. Edelweiss is perfect, clean modern, big and very nice- The owners are very nice and helpful.

One of the largest completely connected skiresorts in...

One of the largest completely connected skiresorts in Austria (with high altitude). In my opinion, it's the second best to St Anton (i.e. Ski Arlberg). Really great place but I'd recommend it for good skiers only.

A very good hotel in a perfect location .

A very good hotel in a perfect location . The SKI bus station is located in front of the hotel, Ski room is very large and well heated with a dedicated entrance. If you ski on your last day and travel back in the afternoon ,the hotel has a dedicated shower for you: It's an amazing service .

See is a beautiful little town, and the local bus can be...

See is a beautiful little town, and the local bus can be hopped on in See, to take you to any of the other towns and through the surrounding mountainous region. I came during the “low” season (in August), when there are few tourists. So, some restaurants and Cafés were closed, but still it was beautiful. The locals were mostly very friendly.
