The people are just so welcoming. From the owners (Alexandra and Ingo) to the restaurant and bar staff (Stavros) were delightful and hugely helpful. It is a hotel that wants to say ‘yes’. They love dogs and make everything as easy as possible. The food was fabulous, great cocktails and the room was immaculate and beautiful. Even the garage parking under the hotel is spacious and super clean !

I had a superb experience at the hotel! It truly excels at creating an authentic local vibe with a relaxed luxury ambiance. However, the highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the personalized service. Despite being in the center of Lech, the location is very beautiful, just in front of the creek and with nice views of the mountains and the pistes. I really liked the hospitality and the atmosphere of the hotel. The owner (who was every day there) and the staff members were super helpful and very friendly. Even though we arrived very late at the hotel , ( 23:00pm ) and the hotel’s restaurant was already closed they arranged for us some dinner to have at the bar upon arrival. Every night at the hotel was something on . From a live band to a pianist the night after. Every afternoon , they had the fireplace on and you could enjoy a nice warm tea from the wonderful herbal tea selection with a piece of fresh baked cake. Excellent breakfast , with fresh fruits, lots of vegan options , fresh bread and delicious croissants, eggs etc . The room was super clean with bathrobes, slippers, toiletries, hair dryer , coffee machine , mini fridge . The bar place , next to the lobby area was a big surprise. They served very good quality of spirits and very well made cocktails. Excellent location ! Exactly in the middle of the village . Very close to both ski lifts, to shops and restaurants.

Loved everything, the hotel was so beautiful, amazing views from the terrace and room. The room was beautiful and had great facilities and huge windows looking out at mountais. The woman on the front desk made it special for us, she was so helpful and welcoming, it was my husbands birthday and they even made him a card and cake which he loved. The staff were all excellent, so kind. We had dinner and food was very good, also breakfast. The bar and lobby area very nice atmosphere and relaxing in evening 👌 and hikes direct from the hotel. It was perfect would recommend 100% and wish we had booked longer. I'd love to come back.

My stay at this alpine-style hotel was exceptional. Just a few steps away from the city center, its warm, family-owned atmosphere made me and my dog feel right at home. The cozy decor and incredible food added to the charm. Dinners were exceptional, variating from local to international cuisine. The staff's kindness extended to helping me explore the beautiful hiking trails, making the experience even more enjoyable. Michael and the staff were amazingly hospitable and attentive to our every need. This pet-friendly gem is a true find, and I'm already looking forward to returning.

- Location : beautiful village, authentic, close to a lot of hikes - Run by a family, very nice and helpful - The pension is a must take, very high quality, menu in 6 courses for a very affordable add-on price (drinks not included) - Breakfast very good as well with a lot of choice - In case of bad weather there is a large area with sauna, hammam, relaxation area, fitness center and swimming pool - Rooms are confortable, nice view on the mountains and the river and very calm = perfect stay, we will come back for sure

Hotel Gotthard is fabulous. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. The breakfast was excellent with a huge selection. There were several restaurants to chose from in the hotel and other nice restaurants a stone throw away. The hotel had great facilities including a pool table and a beautiful swimming pool and sauna. A special shoutout goes to the wonderful bar staff who were great company after a hard days skiing!

One of the best ski areas in Europe.

One of the best ski areas in Europe. Extensive high quality lift system, lots of variation in terrain and piste altitude, difficultly and length. The lift system and pistes are at one with their mountain setting.

Fantastic place to stay.

Fantastic place to stay. It's a quiet little town, away from the hustle and bustle of St Anton. It has a number of great little hotels and the Brandle ski shop is brilliant. There are plenty of enjoyable runs here which I'd say are best suited for people who have had at least 1 ski holiday as there are minimal green runs, mainly blues and reds. Great intermediate runs. From Zurs you can access Lech, St Christoph, Stuben, St Anton, Lech and Warth.... it's a huge area. We went at UK half term and the pistes were never busy and the queues at lifts were minimal or non-existent. Superb destination that we will definitely come back to. If you go to Lech and want to have lunch there then book a table if you can. Everywhere else you don't need to.

Lech is lovely - a good looking resort with good places to...

Lech is lovely - a good looking resort with good places to eat - varied and not as expensive as the reputation suggests. The lift system is very good - although the link with Zurs isn't great - you need to use a track rather than piste to get back. But the ski buses are frequent and reliable, so fine. We mainly skied in Zurs and St Anton as snow was better, But links were great. You can ski all the way to the far side of St Anton in a short day.

If you are into downhill skiing, this place is ideal in all aspects - slopes, infrastructure and service. I personally do not ski, I came to take awesome pictures of the mountains and I was not disappointed! Beauty is all around :)) Also I liked gourmet food and some luxury shopping. Can recommend a big Strolz shop and a terrace restaurant of the Arlberg hotel, which also has a good DJ. So, if you want to feel pampered, spoilt and glamorous, come to Lech :))
