Our stay was short, but location was great, room nice and tidy, we loved the room actually. Spa is very nice. Breakfast was awesome as well. But mostly awesome comunications with staff and especially lovely and helpful owner, who was always present to talk or give a hand and help others. Lot of small things and details.

Hotel Hohlenstein exceeded all of my expectations! The staff was friendly and exceptionally helpful. The rooms were spacious and impeccably clean with great bed. The breakfast was among the best I've experienced in all my travels. What truly stood out was the evident passion and attention to detail that went into creating this hotel. They've thought of everything, from providing umbrellas to a variety of amenities in the room. In my opinion, they deserve a solid 5-star rating. And yeah, SPA was also awesome and not too crowdy. Most of the times, we were the only ones there :)

We stayed on July 6, 2024, for 2 nights. We traveled with our puppy and paid a small additional fee at the reception for accommodation with the dog. In my opinion, we were given the best room, and we were thrilled with the view from the window and balcony. We are very grateful to the hotel for this. We are delighted! We want to come back again! The person at the reception was very kind and friendly. At first, we couldn't find our room, but then he helped us. The hotel staff is very hospitable.

The location is very good and easy reachable by car. The breakfast options and dinner variations are varied and remarkably tasty. Sauna is cosy and hot as sauna need to be.     We had a wonderful time in Tirol, and it wasn’t just the nature that made our stay memorable—it was also the exceptional hospitality at Hotel Jäger. The wellness area and indoor pool provided perfect relaxation after active days outdoors. And in the evening we can play table tennis or calceto.     Ski runs in Tux a bit short, but in general area is big and beautiful, also there are massive Zillertal Arena and Hintertux Glacier ski areas near by. We were traveling by car (there are also ski busses), so visited all nearby skiing locations (you may buy one skipass which will cover all of them). Also I'd recommend great Spa/pool facilities - Erlebnistherme Zillertal

    We enjoyed the opportunity to visit different valleys around Finkenberg depending on the weather. Heavy cloud, rain (and snow above 2000m) prevented us going very high, but the forests and river walks were beautiful.

    I prefer privacy, I do not need to be in the city/village center, so for me the location was perfectly suitable. I enjoy the quiet mountains. If you want to be closer to restaurants, pubs, wellness, you should select accommodation in some of the villages down the valley.

    This is my 6th or 7th stay in Tux and I am always surprised with the scenery and how friendly the locals are. Every local on the street in the town will give you "Servus!" even if they don't know you. Also, the food here is amazing, everything!

    Superbly convenient location for skiing. But Mayrhofen is only a 9 minutes' bus ride away, and it is itself directedly connected to the skiing area by two big cable cars, so staying there is a serious, realistic option.
