Highly recommended! Oborri Shkodran is in a perfect location, right in the pedestrian area of Shkodër, but they offer parking very nearby, which makes things super easy. The staff are truly exceptional – and I mean really kind. They helped us with everything: carrying luggage, giving local tips, arranging things we needed… always with a smile. Not everyone speaks English fluently, but they always do their best to help out. You really feel welcome here. The rooms are great – modern and clean, with comfortable beds and excellent showers. We stayed in rooms 202 and 203, both had a small but handy balcony overlooking the peaceful garden. A nice detail. Breakfast is made on demand and was delicious. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant – the food was good, and the live music created a lovely atmosphere. I honestly can’t say enough about how helpful and warm the staff were throughout our stay. From the hotel, you’re just steps away from the lively pedestrian zone full of restaurants, bars, and shops. The photography museum is right across the street (though we found that a bit underwhelming – the hotel was the real highlight). All in all, a great experience. We’d definitely stay agai

This guest room was very clean, with 24 hour security and felt really safe. The host (Vera) was kind, proactive and always willing to help. We were able to park just outside. We got a breakfast to go at a great price and it was great! Thank you so much for our stay, we would definitely come again.

I spent a weekend in Shkoder and had an amazing stay at this hotel. Everything was spotless and perfectly clean. The entire place is newly furnished, with beautiful décor and attention to every detail that truly makes a difference. In the room they had an espresso machine and I really appreciated that.The bathroom was full equipped with all the essentials. The staff were very kind and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was rich and varied, The location was also great — close to the city center and easy to reach everything.

I always look the the reviews when looking at where to stay, and am never exactly sure what to think about a newish hotel that has a really high rating. But The Roots more than lived up the rating that they have. I loved everything about my stay. Originally I booked for 2 nights, but enjoyed Shkoder so much that I extended for another night, and didn’t think twice about staying put at The Roots. When first dropped off in the street were the hotel is located it felt a bit quite and out of the way, but I soon discovered that it is only a 3 minute stroll to the pedonale which actually makes it super central and yet away from noise and traffic. The room was excellent. All of the hotel was located on the 1 floor. As the hotel is quite recent, all of the fixtures and furniture were fresh and clean. The room was quite spacious with more than enough room to move around the bed and baggage with ease. The bed was delightfully comfortable; the perfect mix of support with softness. There was a small terrace/ balcony off each room which I didn’t utilize as it was quite cold, but can imagine it would be a nice place to sit in warmer weather and enjoy a quiet drink. The staff were super helpful; Badr was very friendly and gave excellent advice and help in getting me on a day trip to Koman Lake and Shala River (tip- if you go to either of these places and it is cool in Shkoder, it will be really cold on the river- bring warm clothes for the boat!), as well as helping with taxis, local knowledge and plans for further travel. I loved Shkoder and I hope to return someday. And if I do it will be a no-brainer that I will book a room at The Roots.

Everything! The relaxing terrace with the amazing view, the included homemade breakfast, parking spot, a big shower, the lovely owners, comfy bed. On arrival, they send you a map with the highlights of the city and recommendations for food. In the evening, we were enjoying the view on the terrace and the lady came to offer us water and juice.

Qendrimi ishte shume i kendshem.Cfare na pelqeu me shume ishte pastertia dhe mikpritja.Cdo gje ishte e rregullt,e paster, dhe stafi jashtezakonisht i sjellshem.Pronaret ishin gjithmone aty te gatshem per cdo nevoje apo sugjerim qe kishim.Te benin te ndiheshe si ne shtepi.Kushtet e hotelit ishin shume te mira, ambienti i qete dhe i pershtatshem per te pushuar me qetesi.Dhe pse mengjesi nuk ishte i perfshire ne cmim, pergatitej me kujdes dhe sipas deshirave tona.Vertet nje vend qe do ju rekomandoja te kalonit pushimet. The stay was very pleasant. What we liked the most was the cleanliness and hospitality. Everything was tidy, clean, and the staff was extremely polite. The owners were always there ready for any need or suggestion we had. They made you feel at home. The hotel conditions were very good, the environment quiet and suitable for a peaceful rest. And although breakfast was not included in the price, it was prepared with care and according to our wishes. Truly a place that I would recommend to spend your holidays.

We had a wonderful experience at Buna Park Hotel. The room was spotlessly clean, and the food was excellent. The young woman at reception was extremely helpful — unfortunately, we didn’t get her name, but she arranged for us to stay in the best room facing the lake, which was quiet and peaceful. The location is great, the staff are friendly, and the value for money is 5 stars. We are a couple from Malta and we highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting.

The accomodation was nice, spacefull, clean with nice view to see. Staff was very kind and helpfull. There were no porblem with check in and check out. Dinners and breakfasts were chosen from menu with several options. The food was tasty, large portions and nice service. There was no problem with parking at the hotel. There was a very nice, clean and well-maintained swimming pool.
