This place is more than just a hotel – it feels like your own villa with private rooms, a beautiful garden with tables and chairs, and complete peace and quiet. My stay at Aragosta Hotel in Durrës was a very pleasant experience, with several aspects worth highlighting. The hotel is conveniently located near the university where our meetings were held, which made transportation and time management much easier. We received a room upgrade upon arrival, but I must say that both the original and upgraded rooms were excellent—spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped. The cleanliness of the entire hotel was outstanding, and it was clear that great attention was given to hygiene. The staff was exceptionally polite and helpful, going above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Even a special request we made just a few hours before arrival was honored without any issues, which speaks volumes about their dedication to guest satisfaction. A major convenience was the hotel's private garage, where we parked our car without any hassle. Just like the rest of the hotel, the garage was impeccably clean and well-maintained. Overall, this hotel provided a fantastic experience, combining comfort, excellent service, and a great location. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Durrës, whether for business or leisure.

This hotel offers good value for the price. The location is very convenient — just a 1–2 minute walk to the beach. The beach has a beautiful promenade, and there are many upscale hotels nearby, which creates a pleasant atmosphere. A big plus is that free sunbeds and umbrellas are provided on the beach, so you don’t need to pay extra for them. We really enjoyed the dinners — the portions were large, everything was tasty, and you could choose any dish from the menu. The only extra charge was for drinks. Breakfast was a bit limited, especially if you don’t like fried food. The hotel staff were very attentive and polite, always trying to accommodate any requests. For example, we only had a kettle in the room initially, but after asking for cups and tea, they provided them without any problems.

All! really worth 5 stars. everything was great. room, restaurant with top chefs, the receptionists in particular great! the service, especially the older waiter at the top breakfast, moved like a butler and was very attentive. The building is only a few years old and has been recreated in an Italian atmosphere, but it certainly radiates quality. The Spa can be reserved for guests each day for private use. it is located a little further from the beach 750 meters. but we preferred to stay at the hotel. you don't want to leave there anymore. We will definitely go back! great hotel!

The staying at Vila Lule was super pleasant. You can access from there directly to the private beach side with already included umbrella and seats. The service at the restaurant was really amazing, including the food and the professional people working there. The food was super tasty and the fish always fresh. The room are spacious and you can have a nice view on the beach to see the beautiful sunsets. The personnel is always at your disposal and they help you with anything you need. Thanks a lot to all the staff for making the stay really great!

The welcome was brilliant - Especially given the time of night we arrived and our last minute booking. Our room was large with plenty of facilities and an unexpected side sea view, which was great. Lovely dinner, despite arriving late and an amazing breakfast! The best we've had in ages. All topped off with a beach front location, close to the port and super clean room and beds. We would definitely recommend - Elton and his family and staff were so lovely and friendly.

The hotel is brilliant! Super friendly staff right from reception to housekeeping and even the restaurant. Breakfast is good. Their in house restaurant is amazing. Good selection of drinks and food is mainly Italian and sea food. We sat on sun loungers and by the pool. The staff would check in on us, bring us our food and drinks. Very good service

Durres is a nice relaxing place to stay, a lot of history.

Durres is a nice relaxing place to stay, a lot of history. plenty of shops, people were helpful, plenty of small bars most selling food at very reasonable prices. A walk along the beach is recommended where there are many restaurants with lots of variety. if travelling i would recommend taking a bus as taxis are rather expensive i.e. a bus from the airport will cost 7 euro whilst a taxi will cost around 37 euro.

The airport is small, clean, and has a nice modern facade. Check-in was straightforward, and the building itself looks pleasant. During departure it was extremely crowded and chaotic, with no free seating and little space to move around. My flight was delayed, which made the wait even less comfortable. Nice small airport in design, but easily overcrowded and uncomfortable during busy hours.

Krujë is a charming historic town with narrow streets, an old bazaar, and plenty of traditional Albanian restaurants. The Castle Museum and Ethnographic Museum are must-visits, there’s so much history to discover. Rain or shine, it’s worth exploring, and on clear days, head up to the shrine on the hills for a stunning view over the entire Krujë valley.

The beaches are awefull around Cape Rodon. Lot's of trash and garbage floating around the beaches and sea. Currently there are 2 newly built resorts (Saint Michelle Residence and Resort Arbeni) being demolished for unknown reasons. Our first booked accomodation let us know that they had to cancel our booking due to Albanian new legislation (Piceri Rodoni). In my opinion it is better to stay at the beaches of Dürres and visit the cape as half a day trip. But if you want to have a non-active holiday, Rodoni resort is the best place you could imagine to stay.

We had to drive, but it wasn't a problem for us. We discovered some really nice local bars and restaurants. Duka Wine Estate is definitely recommended, just a 10-minute drive away! Lej & Laj, we'll definitely be back!

This is perfect for its purpose!

This is perfect for its purpose! A clean, comfy bed to catch some sleep before a flight. We could return our car, walk to Rinas to sleep and walk to the airport in the early morning. It worked out perfectly. Safe, clean & our bed was actually the most comfortable we had in our 2 weeks in Albania.

Kruje is charming and small.

Kruje is charming and small. You don't need more than half a day to walk through bazaar and explore the castle views and museums. You could stay longer if you are planning to do hikes in the area which we didn't have time for. It is a charming small town with great views and a nice bazaar.

Very beautiful beach, clean air surrounded by pine trees, family oriented, a lot of fresh and testy quality local food. Outstanding sunrise and sunset. The best I have ever seen so far. I would recommend to have options of water activities for the families and the kids even though there is plenty of ground activities available.

I loved our stay here.

I loved our stay here. The beach is great - clean, not too busy as locals go there and only 1 or 2 hotels on the coast, so not overloaded by tourists like some European destinations. Beautiful beach, warm sea. Just perfect.
