Great location for a 2 night stopover as so close to the airport. As we have previously lived in Dubai, we didn't need to be near the tourist spots, so this area was perfect for us. Staff were all lovely and friendly. The breakfast buffet was amazing! Bonus was having access to the lagoon - get there early to get a sunbed! It's an area that is still under construction, so there is a bit of noise, but nothing that impacted our stay. There is a walk along the creek you can do that has stunning views looking back towards the centre of Dubai, especially at sunset.

My husband and I have just returned from a week stay at Golden Sands 5 bur dubai and once again had a fantastic stay. The entire staff provide an exceptional service, helpful, and courteous at all times. I want to mention Haity, and Anis who greeted us and remembered us from our stay last year. The lifeguard at the pool , a tall guy, was excellent at his job, constantly monitoring the small children around and in the pool. The staff are constantly cleaning and keeping the whole complex spotless. We would highly recommend Golden Sands and really look forward to staying here again next year. Again many thanks to you all. Property is located in the center of Dubai. Main attractions are accessible by walk but I would suggest to use a taxi. The hotel personnel are very polite and willing to help in any situation. The staff were super friendly and helpful. They are ready 24/7 to answer all your questions and help in any situation. Breakfast is simple but has food variety for any taste. The pool with a waterfall and sun gives you a maximum relaxation feeling. Location is great just a couple of minutes from Burj Khalifa.

There is so much to see and do in Dubai!

There is so much to see and do in Dubai! Two weeks was just the right amount of time to see the sites and also have some "down time". It's a very clean city with almost no crime. People left their packages, purses, phones, etc. alone and no one steals. Coming from the US, it was a very nice surprise! I'd recommend staying downtown for a week and then head over to Palm Jumeriah for some relaxation. Be sure to make reservations in advance if tickets are required. If you do decide to go, you won't be disappointed!

This is one of the best places I stayed in Dubai. The apartment is beautiful, with a comfortable bed, a nice high desk to work from, plenty of room in the cupboards, a great kitchen and bathroom. Host was extremely helpful and communicative, an excellent host. The parking is easy and covered. The pool is beautiful, with very comfortable sun lounges, perfect to relax after a long day at work. I will definitely book this place again.

Great camp with the BEST staff.

Great camp with the BEST staff. They tend to your needs around the clock. My only drawback is the restroom situation. The toilet and shower is in one very small stall. Had to hang change of clothes in different stall to keep the shower from wetting them. Another drawback is COLD showers. No hot water at all even after letting it run for some time. My husband caught a slight cold because the desert gets cool in the evening, and the walk back to the tent from the cold shower did him in. Also on my booking confirmation , it said there would be a bidet in the tent. There was not one, but I think that is best. Not mad about that at all. On a good note, we really enjoyed the dishes we were served with such great variety. The entertainment was nice. We booked for two nights, but one night is more than enough. I would definitely recommend this camp to anyone wanting a different Dubai experience.

A city that has something new everytime i visit. food is good especially the non veg. transport is easy to get..you just need to download the apps. food delivery is good. i have yet to try the metro.. next trip!

To see the sights of Dubai you need taxis - at certain times...

To see the sights of Dubai you need taxis - at certain times of the day the roads are gridlocked especially around Dubai mall and Dubai marina. Public transport is not good and basically there are too many people for the infrastructure to support making planning and travelling extremely stressful. Enjoyed it but i will never be back unless i win the lottery.
