Everything has exceeded our expectations, the scenery, facilities, staff, atmosphere, and especially the sauna. We expected a simple steam room, but it was a high-quality sauna with a "Harvia" branded heater, perfect for those looking to get a really hot sauna, but you can also choose a lower setting if that's your preference. There's a hot/cold shower in the sauna, as well as an outdoor pool to cool down after the sauna. Our stay came with bathrobes which made the stay feel even more luxurious. The atmosphere was amazing, views from anywhere within the hotel are mindblowing and the staff was super friendly. Since the hotel is a bit uphill, on our last day, the clouds were a bit lower so we woke up to what felt like having clouds in front of us, instead of above us. Relaxing at the balcony with this kind of view felt like heaven. 11/10

Amazing view from the balcony. Tidy and clean. Excellent location for hikes in this part of the island. Good breakfast: sandwich, eggs, corn flakes and cake.

Facilities include an outdoor pool. Everything is just great. The hotel surrounding is beautiful with stunning views, you can watch the sunrise from the balcony or just outside the hotel. Great breakfast with huge choice of food. We had a vila which was very spacious and well equipped, even with an own fireplace :) The staff was super friendly. There is also a walking path that will bring you down to the beach, which is not far, just it is little steep. Definitely recommend for families with kids - they can enjoy the pool area as well as playing room with billiard, table tennis and table football.

Set on Madeira’s South Coast, Ponta do Sol has a stunning infinity pool and hot tub with panoramic views. The location is amazing, great view on the sea from the room, the terrace and the restaurant. Very quiet area and comfortable room. Very good breakfast and restaurant. Nice crew.
