We stayed here on the 30th of June as a stopover on our road trip to Lake Garda, and honestly, it couldn’t have been a better choice. We picked it based on the beautiful photos and glowing reviews—and it still managed to exceed our expectations. If anything, it’s even better in real life. The house is just lovely—full of charm, tastefully decorated with original features, and so much character. From the moment we booked, Allison and Ian were in touch, checking in about our arrival time and making sure everything was smooth. They’re such genuinely warm and welcoming people—friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. When we arrived, we were shown around the house and the stunning, well-kept garden and pool area. There’s even a lovely guest living room where you can relax, which adds to the homely feel. Our room was spotless, cosy, and had gorgeous views of the mountains and church. Every little detail had clearly been thought through with care. Allison even offered to pop a pizza in the oven for us when we mentioned we were tired from the drive and unsure whether to go out again—that kind of thoughtful gesture really stood out. In the end, we did go out to the nearby lake restaurant they recommended, which was great, but the offer meant a lot. And then there was breakfast… Waking up to the smell of freshly baked bread and croissants was just incredible. It was easily the best breakfast of our trip—generous and delicious. We left feeling relaxed, well looked after, and already talking about when we might come back. It’s a truly special place with really special hosts. Couldn’t recommend it more.

Jean-Claude was an exceptional host, and went above and beyond to make our stay a memorable one. He was so friendly and welcoming. There was iced tea waiting for us on arrival which was greatly appreciated after a long hot day traveling on motorbikes, as was the pool. Jean-Claude rang and booked a table for us at the local restaurant. The house was full of character and the rooms were spotlessly clean, well equiped and the beds were really comfortable. Breakfast was fabulous with home made pancakes and jams as well as breads, ham, cheese and a lovely fresh fruit salad among other things. There was a garage for our motorbikes. We would definitely recommend and stay again.

Sabrina made our stay special by making us feel at home and offering us all the amenities that she had to offer. We felt welcome right away! The room was meticulous and so comfortable. We got in late and Sabrina was so welcoming. The breakfast was simply amazing! Love this environment and Sabrina!

It’s an old chateau surrounded by green calmness. Our stay was short, but we liked the place very much. They have indoor games for bad weather and a wonderful yard for sunny days. We haven’t tried the pool. Although it’s a building mostly made of stone, it was warm and pleasant inside. The interior is stylish and cosy. The host is very kind. The breakfast was delicious.
