From the moment we arrived we felt relaxed and comfortable. The gardens are absolutely gorgeous and due to the heavy rain when we visited we spent a lot of time drinking tea and sitting on the covered porch. The hosts were very attentive and available but not over bearing. They gave us tuk tuk rides at a good price to pidurangala rock and Sigiriya rock. The room was spotless and so comfortable. We’ve been in Sri Lanka now for 2 weeks and this was our favourite accommodation.

The hotel is beautiful, modern and spotlessly clean. The staff is amazing, hotel manager Bernard is doing an amazing job running the place. Not only he took care that we were satisfied within the hotel, but he also arranged/booked all the activities for us for a very fair price - sunrise at Pidurangala rock, safari to Minneriya national park, and a ride to our next stay. He always only booked the "checked" drivers/guides he knew, that spoke very good English and gave us the best experience possible. We were also very satisfied with the safari guide - we saw a lot of wild animals, he explained us a lot about the wildlife of the national park, and he was very respectful to the animals (not coming too close, moving away if the elephants came closer and wanted to cross the road...). The breakfast is also very big and delicious, with eggs, sandwiches and fresh fruit. Definitely the best stay we had in Sri Lanka!

Such a unique stay, we really couldn’t fault it. The room was nice and cool with a fan and mosquito net, there were plenty plugs and windows around the room for us to look out and feel we were in the middle of the jungle! We loved hearing all the animals in the morning and the peacock that appeared each morning right outside. The hosts couldn’t do enough to make sure we had a comfortable stay - thanks so much for a wonderful, memorable stay. Also, fabulous breakfast!
