We booked this on short notice 10 minutes before we arrived and were super happy that the owner is so flexible. The accommodation was super clean and really nice. It’s right at the beach and beside a great restaurant. Everything was clean and the host was really friendly. We felt comfortable and great to stay here. The garden was beautiful and we enjoyed our stay.

The property is around 36 km from Bambalapitiya Railway Station, 42 km from Khan Clock Tower and 49 km from R Premadasa Stadium. The guest house has private entrance. Beautiful views. Amazing feeling right on the coastline, therapeutic. The room is quite spacious and the bed is very large and comfortable. They have a small store on site that sells snacks and drinks for low prices. You can also order breakfast, lunch, and dinner from them, very authentic, fresh, and affordable. The hosts went above and beyond to make sure I enjoyed my stay. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Cannot say enough good things about the hosts. Some of the kindest and most genuine people I have ever met. Extremely generous family. It was a very joyful and peaceful stay, at a very affordable price.

Very beautiful small hotel with huge facilities. Little bit inside the city but juat 10 minuts ride by tuk tuk. 1.5 km for the main city. Juat a breath taking view of kaluthara river and kaluthara dagaba. Very tasty foods. Id like recommend this place. 10/10

Very friendly and helpful owners. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Beautiful place.

I stayed at SunSet Guest House during my entire stay in Beruwala, and it was perfect. The place truly lives up to its name, offering real sunset views, the soothing sound of the waves, and freshly prepared home-cooked meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, all made by the host. Communication was effortless, as they speak English, and the host also speaks fluent German. I highly recommend this place and will definitely come back one day.

Clean nice big room and bathroom too. Very comfortable stay . Big breakfast, I left some of them for lunch time. Fresh fruits was so delicious! Pretty garden and swimming pool. Supermarket , it’s takes around ten minutes .

This beachfront property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Kande Viharaya Temple is 2.6 km from the guest house and Aluthgama Railway Station is 2.9 km away. Sarath, Pearly and their daughter Sachini, not forgetting Sanju the 16 year old dashund are the most charming hosts. We travelled as two couples and were made to feel at home immediately. The guest rooms are on the upper floor, which we had to ourselves with a separate external staircase to access it. We also had use of the fridge in the kitchen at the rear which our delicious breakfasts were prepared in.each day. This is served on the spacious balcony surrounded by tropical trees which attract many species of beautiful birds, chipmonks and fruit bats, ,which is just about the best way we can think of to start the day. Both rooms had private bathrooms, one being ensuite and the other just outside the room, but not a problem at all. The beds were large and comfortable and there was plenty of space for storing our belongings. This was important to us because we'd been travelling around and this was our last base for 10 nights. It was great to finally be able to unpack everything and get organised. In addition to the access door each room also has double doors which open out onto the balcony too. The bathrooms are very clean with powerful separate shower cubicles. Location wise the Villa is positioned only a few hundred yards off the main Galle Road down a narrow side road, but it feels as though you're nowhere near to it as we couldn't hear any traffic noise at all. Continue down the lane past the villa, over the little bridge and meander down the various lanes you can take and within 10 minutes you'll find yourself at the beautiful Moragalla beach. This was our seventh trip to Sri Lanka and we've been fortunate enough to stay in some great places over the years but Beach Gate Villa is definitely in our favourites list. As far as value for money goes it has to be top. We will definitely be back on our next trip. Thank you guys for a wonderful stay x
