There are 2 hot plates on top of the oven which you can cook your food, but is a bit too high which make cooking difficult.

Hilltop Haven is in the quiet countryside with a lovely view over the valley but close to Doolin. Then cottage is clean and well-equipped and maintained. The added bonus was bread, milk, water and juice that were left for us. We didn’t have the opportunity to meet our hosts but did enjoy their accommodation and location very much.

This place was in a beautiful countryside location, a short walk or drive from a stunning beach and view of the coast. A short drive to the Cliffs of Moher as well. The place was very well decorated and set up, with access to a shared space with coffee, views, couches, and games. The host was incredibly nice and informative and even made us a list of places to see and things to do on our next stop. We took her up on some of her recommendations and we’re not disappointed! Loved this place!

Amazing spot so close to Lahinch main town. Couldn't recommend this place more, we travelled all around Ireland from Australia and this was by far our favourite place. It was so cosy and lovely, and was very relaxing among the greenery! Honestly worth every bit of the price (which was reasonable anyways!), as it was a great experience in itself. The host was so friendly and was giving us tips about our trip, we felt very welcome there. Thanks again!

My room was cosy, plenty of space, very comfortable bed and a nice clean bathroom . The view was great, I could see the Cliffs and when lying in bed the window above was nice to look into the sky and even to hear the rain. The common room downstairs was also very comfortable. There was all sorts of different tea and coffee and also cornflakes which I didn't expect to be there. A nice table to have your breakfast and a chat with the other guests who stayed there. And 2 nice comfy chairs to relax and have a coffee after a nice walk. When I went downstairs on Sunday there were freshly baked scones on the counter what a nice surprise, they were yummy and put a smile on my face. There are also tables outside on the terrace to enjoy a nice lunch or just relax on a beautiful sunny day. I have to say I liked everything in Lane Lodge and Teresa the host is very welcoming and friendly and likes to have a chat and will answer all the questions you have about Doolin and the area. And I met the 2 little dogs who live there and they were super nice. Also the location is perfect, close to the pier, you can walk to the Cliffs from here and pubs and restaurants are near by for a nice meal and drink if you fancy one. I left very happy and relaxed, and will come back for sure.

Breathtaking view, immaculately clean, huge property with vast garden and the house has everything. Owner stays in the next house around the compound. We feel secure they are nearby and there when we need them, but they left us with our own privacy. We had a family friends and dogs with 2 children visiting us every evening. Lovely place. Highly recommended. Look no further if you’re going around Clare . This is it!

If you're looking for an authentic family-run B&B experience, this is the gold standard. I travel often due to work - and I've had the privilege to stay in so many places all over the world (Japan, Estonia, Malta, Portugal, South Korea, Germany, USA etc etc etc). Churchfield is going to hold a special place in my heart. My big mistake was not booking more nights in this lovely place! (if you end up feeling the same way, just ask them if they have extra rooms available). Aoiefa and her family has taken so much trouble to make you as comfortable as possible - it's all the little things from the tea & coffee in the room, the hot water bottle, the thoughtfully provided toiletries etc. The breakfast was delicious and the hospitality was warm & inviting. You can tell they love their guests, they are passionate about what they do, and hospitality is what they are all about. The location is excellent for an adventure to the Cliffs of Moher, and the Aran Islands. Not to mention that across & along the street you can walk to Irish pubs with trad music (even though we were there in an off season). All in all it was a memorable stay.
