Situated on the banks of the Inglis river, The Waterfront Wynyard offers a range of accommodation types in their motel units, all north-facing, with views across the waterfront precinct. For your entertainment, the property also has kayaks, golf clubs and bikes for guest use. This is one of the nicest motels we ever stayed at. Great location at the waterfront, short stroll to the beach snd city center, super friendly staff and the cafe attached is awesome

Waratah on York is located in a restored Victorian mansion, just 5 minutes’ walk from Launceston city centre. It features free off-street parking and Wi-Fi internet access.

Waratah On York overlooks Launceston City Park and is a 5-minute walk from the Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery. Cataract Gorge is only 3 km away, and Launceston Airport is a 20-minute drive. The stay felt like living in a castle — the decor was quite luxurious, the room was very spacious, and it offered great value for money.

Sitting alongside Hobart's waterfront, the historic Henry Jones Art Hotel offers luxurious rooms offering water or courtyard views. The hotel is set in a row of renovated 1820s warehouses and a former IXL jam factory. It offers a bar and boasts a variety of original artworks throughout the property. We have one of the LOFT studio (with sitting, kitchen, and bathroom / toilet below and the bed with another TV & air-cond/heater up-stair), and it was the best accommodation of our trip. The room is perfectly clean, the kitchen is well equipped with all sort of drinks (sparkling water, soft drink, juice, gin, whisky, vodka, wine...coffee, tea...even a traveller adapter and Panadol!!! - all at a price). The choice of movies (NEW and old) is fantastic - it will takes at least 10 days to finish with 24 hours continuous watching! In the bathroom, all towers are doubles (like for 4 persons, though it's a room for 2). At the ground floor are the lounge, bar, restaurant, and cafe (the breakfast was nice! & the manager a very easy going friendly person) and a big under-covered courtyard with lots of tables & chairs - there is also an art gallery. The location of the hotel is PERFECT for me, as my trip to Hobart is to try some nice foods around and take some photos. Also there is complementary valet parking for our car and was there ready in the morning when we check out - THANK YOU, GUYS!

Just 2 minutes' walk from Sullivan's Cove and Salamanca Place, this restored mansion in Hobart offers modern accommodation with flat-screen cable TV and panoramic views of the harbour, mountain, city or park. Free off-street parking is available for guests. Lenna Of Hobart is a fabulous hotel. It is located between Salamanca and Battery Point, giving you easy access to all the main tourist spots, but also local cafes and shops. It is a historic building that has been done up beautifully. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable with comfortable bed and a great shower. A real benefit for us were the guest laundry facilities that allowed us to wash clothes between between hiking/kayaking adventures. The hotel was brilliant at ensuring our bags (which we left in storage as we went hiking/kayaking) were put in our rooms, ready for our return. Overall, a brilliant hotel.

Cradle Mountain Highlanders offers secluded cabins on the edge of Cradle Mountain National Park. It provides convenient, self-catering facilities and is a 5-minute drive from the park’s entrance.

Each of the unique cabins at Cradle Mountain Highlanders has cosy interiors, including a fireplace. All cabins are lined with beautiful Tasmanian timber and most cabins have full kitchen facilities. Some units have a luxurious spa bath and mountain views. It was a special and peaceful retreat in a cabin surrounded by the forest. Both the reception area and the cabins were beautifully designed. The fireplace inside the cabin kept us very warm—so much so that at night, we even left the window slightly open while the fire was still going. It was conveniently close to the Visitor Centre and Devils @ Cradle. The kitchen had all the utensils we needed, but I’d recommend bringing enough ingredients if you plan to cook your own meals.

Situated in Burnie, 2.1 km from South Burnie Beach, One North Terrace features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. This 4-star hotel offers luggage storage space. The property is non-smoking and is located 46 km from Hellyer River and Hellyer Gorge. Recently opened new build. It is well appointed, clean and comfortable. We had a 2 bedroom apartment with a balcony. There is a container shipping port across the street, but it never bothered us with noise. Actually it was fascinating to watch the coordination of loading and unloading the ferry. Parking is on site and close to the elevator. There are restaurants and shops just a short walk away. We would definitely stay here again.

In the centre of Hobart, located within a short distance of Short Beach and Hobart Convention And Entertainment Centre, Hobart City Townhouse offers free WiFi, air conditioning and household amenities such as a microwave and kettle. This apartment provides free private parking and full-day security. Outdoor seating is also available at the apartment. Convenient location if you are going to the Salamanca Market the next day, as it is within walking distance and you can leave the car at the property parking spot. It has 2 storeys, plenty of room for 4 people. The extra toilet at the back on the ground floor was good when you travel with a group. The bathroom on the second floor includes shower and toilet. The host was very nice and communication was good :)
