Probably the best value for the money we got in Sri Lanka. The property is brand new, the rooms look like in a good 4+ star hotel (photos on the site don’t lie). Only a pool is missing, but there wasn’t much of a problem as the Nilaveli beach is only 5 minutes away on foot. The staff is super helpful and nice, the manager is always smiley!

Lovely huts in wonderful garden, full of chairs and hammocks to relax in. Each hut has its own little verandah. The huts are all individually beautifully and very creatively decorated, an unique experience! Owner Brenda does everything to make you feel at home, cooks delicious meals and speaks very well english. The beach is a stone throw away. It is a lagoon with (very) shallow water so safe for swimming, even for small children. Highly recommended!

Lovely clean spacious room very close to a beautiful, quiet beach. Staff were lovely, helpful and accommodating. Little cabanas on the beach wereperfect for relaxing in the shade with a beautiful view. We only ate breakfast here but the food was great and delivered to our room. The only downside is that the beach has a lot of litter further up. They clean around the hotel, so the view is unspoilt, but a shame the other hotels don’t do the same and take more care of the beach and our planet.

Great location a very short walk to the beach, the room was spacious and big enough to easily unpack bags. The room was clean and good air-conditioning. The owner was very helpful with advice on the area and organised a scooter for us to explore the local area

Great location on the beautiful beach, comfortable AC rooms with fridge and kettle, close to nearby tourist attractions, staff friendly and made an effort to make you comfortable. Little things like late check out and water for your journey were really thoughtful and welcome. Overall a decent place to stay considering it was still out of season.

Friendly staff that is willing to help and organize trips in surroundings. Tasty breakfast, great food, it is possible to order lunch/dinner, you have a choice of 2 meals, which are every day different. One of the best location of the beaches in Trincomalee. Most of the time we were the only one at the beach, the ocean is clean. It almost feels like you are in paradise.

Fantastic location right on the beach, best location in Uppuveli with plenty of shaded sun beds. We stayed 3 nights but could have stayed many more. Staff were great, very attentive, particularly Raj, nothing too much trouble. Highly recommend Golden Beach, there are plenty of places to eat nearby and no problems getting a tuk tuk.

First I booked one night and then I stayed three. Trincomalee is literally a paradise and it’s worth it to spend more time there. The host was super kind and friendly, the location is strategic you can reach the most beautiful part of Uppuveli beach only walking 15 min ( the beach is 3 min walking from the hostel but it’s dirty) and 5 min by tuk tuk from the city center and temples. The room was clean, and they have a nice garden. I felt very comfortable :)

Lovely location right on the beach. Very comfortable place to stay for a few nights relaxation whilst touring Sri Lanka. Staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Very tasty home cooking. Good swimming from the beach.

Clean room with nice view of lagoon. Clean and modern bathroom with hot water. comfi bed, refrigerator, electric kettle, tv plus many more. Situated near the trinco town and can easily go to the places you want to see. Very tasty meals for reasonable price. Helpful staff! The guy who is working there is very professional! Keep it up the good work! Best place to stay in Trinco!
