This was an amazing hotel ! We spent 3 nights here . We wanted something quiet , away from the bustle of Ella.. and this place was perfect . The room was spacious & had a comfortable bed . We ate most of our meals in the restaurant ( which is a beautiful Balinese style open sided building with amazing views ) . The staff were so polite & friendly . They also had a lovely infinity pool . We had a driver who could take us where we wanted to go .. but you can use a tuk tuk . Highly recommended !

The Green Village was by far the highlight of our holiday in Shri Lanka. It has perfect location, excellent service and clean rooms. The members of staff were very nice and helpful. When we arrived to the hotel, we were wet and cold because of sudden rain that caught us on the road. The hostess brought us hot tea and snacks right away as well as a hairdryer. The included breakfast was delicious. The hosts also advised us where to refuel the scooter and when to go to the Nine-arch bridge. And of course it is hard to describe the perfect beauty of Ella Rock that you will see from your terrace. I hope that we'll come back again to this wonderful hotel!

I highly recommend this place! The biggest highlight is the wonderful host. The breakfast is delicious and filling – enough energy to climb all the mountains! The rooms are clean, the bed is comfortable, and the view from the balcony is absolutely stunning.

Naadhika and her family were the perfect hosts. Absolutely polite, accommodative and helpful. Naadhika's mother made us delicious home cooked breakfasts and dinners. We were tired of eating outside food during our trip, so their food was a good healthy break for us. Naadhika's mom is an awesome cook. Their homestay was probably the best experience we had amongst the six other homestays we stayed during our two week trip. We rented their scooter for two days which they offered at a lower price than other commercial places. They even accommodated our request to extend our stay by one day at the last minute and modified their other bookings. Naadhika has a very pleasant personality and is always smiling and her mother is a lovely and sweet lady. If you're looking for a quiet, comfortable stay, and if this place is available, please book it right away. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here if I ever visit Ella.

We had the best stay at Ella Blue Heaven, the location is wonderful and one of the few who has a Waterfall view on this road. The room was cozy, the owners kind and generous, we would absolutely recommend. Waking up in the morning with such a sight was incredible!

Magical peaceful space set about 2k from the city of Ella, with a short tuck tuck ride to the city centre. A family run business who was so kind and nice. A big, healthy breakfast. A large double room with a big private balcony. Really comfortable bed. Would highly recommend for people who don't want to be in the madness and loudness of Ella. The owner arranged everything for us. He even recommended a lovely restaurant and dropped us to the door.

Really nice homestay!! Great location! It’s downtown Ella but away from the main road in the nature so it’s quiet and peaceful! 3 min walking to the main road by the shortcut.The garden and patio are beautiful. Breakfast is really good and big! The owner and his wife are so welcoming and generous, always ready to help and making sure we have everything we need. I recommend this homestay!

Fernando (the guy who takes care of the property and helps you out with everything you need) is a great guy with a good heart. The location is in the jungle with a great view and great sounds of nature. Not the best place for those who wanna go out for party (it takes about 12min by car from Ella to get there) but the best place to stay, relax, enjoy the nature and so on. Everything is clean and nice made. Great location and great property. Bis thanks to Fernando!!

This place is in the perfect location and has a stunning view of the mountains, plus you can see sunrise/sunset straigh from your room! It is a 5 minute walk from the town where they have amazing restaurants and bars. If you go to Ella, this is the perfect place to stay. The staff were also very sweet and helpful!

We just loved our stay at Downtown’s! The place is simple but nice and clean. The location is perfect, just a 3 minute walk from the train station. Shehan is the most helpful host you can imagine - he did a very spontaneous cooking class with us (the food was SO good) and even organised a Safari in Udawalawe and transport to the south coast for such a good price! If you’re in Ella this is the place to stay (:

Had a lovely stay at Ella Alpine Resort. The hotel is situated above the Ella town and has probably one of the best locations for scenery in Ella, with a spectacular view of Ella Rock and directly opposite "Flying Ravana" The rooms were very spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were also extremely polite and accommodating. I'll definitely stay here the next time I'm in Ella.

Royal Mount Ella is a perfect place to stay in Ella. It is away from the city center with a gorgeous view of Ella Rock. The train tracks are close enough by to enjoy, yet the trains were quiet enough that we weren't woken up by them. I cannot say enough about the family that run this place. They helped us with rides, tours, and provided us with fantastic breakfasts and dinners. Boy, can the mom cook! Our room was clean, comfortable, and decorative with a beautiful view and balcony.
