Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Whistlewood Guesthouse Walmer, Port Eizabeth provides accommodation with an infinity pool and free WiFi. The house was charming, and kitchen was so stocked up and the rooms were comfortable and had all the amenities and the garden and pool are lovely too. It is a 5 minute drive from the PE airport and is super safe. But really the highlight was interacting with Jane , the owner and her husband, Pierre. The conversation was wonderful, especially for international visitors trying to understand South Africa a bit better. Jane’s entire corporate career in the hospitality sector meant that she anticipated any possible question.
