Fantastic private location right on the waterfront but only 5 minutes drive from the wharf and town. Incredible view. Fabulous chalet ("chalet" doesn't do it justice, perfect for those who appreciate 70's/80's architecture with high ceilings and 45 degree angles. The 12-year-old called it "awesome" and said he wanted to live there forever). Two large bedrooms each with a huge ensuite, big well-equipped kitchen and convenient in-chalet laundry. Amazing outlook from large windows in all the rooms. Thoughtfully furnished. Lovely gardens and expansive balconies. A pool house which we didn't use, but good advice from the hosts on the best hot baths in town. Really helpful communication from the hosts, timely and upbeat, nothing too much trouble.

The accommodation offers luggage storage space and private check-in and check-out for guests. Met by Tash on arrival who is very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for an early morning flight from Hamilton Airport. Very rural, quiet and attractive surroundings and the room had everything we needed. The breakfast was very substantial with 4 different cereals, toast and croissants and jams etc, 4 different types of tea and instant and brewed coffee. The shower was large and very good, and bathroom stocked with lots of extra touches. The room was elevated with a lovely rural view and warm and very tidy and tasteful. Thanks for a wonderful stay. Would stay again, and I see that you loan bicycles, which could be a good thing to do next time.

Germans don't say "amazing" very often, but when they do, they mean it. This was großartig ;-)

The surroundings of the farm and nature was really serene and it was comfortable to relax ourselves as it was away from the crowd and noise (much more peaceful than the cities). We enjoyed the view very much and even got to see the farm animals from afar, such as the cows marching at dawn and the rabbit stealing some lettuce; how cute!! Even though the weather wasn’t perfect (it was wet and dreary), we still enjoyed having a stroll around the farm and snapping photos at every opportunity. The apartment was large and cozy, with fragrance (and a cow theme which is cute) in every room, even the toilet! We even got the chance to bring a book home from the collection, but it was a pity that none caught our interest :( (I did like the 100 Wonders of the World, though…)
