They made delicious dinner and breakfast for us every day, picked us up from the train station and drove us around and showed us all the wonderful sights of Kandy. It was very affordable as well. We would highly recommend staying here if you want to have a very welcoming, personal and homely experience :))

I had a very comfortable stay at Suwani Pinnawala Homestay…. the room was clean, spacious, and well-furnished, with a spotless bathroom…. the hosts were exceptionally kind, especially the lady of the house, who went out of her way to prepare special vegetarian meals for me…. breakfast was excellent, and the homestay is conveniently close to the elephant bathing grounds. Highly recommended!

There is an open treehouse dining area which is nice. 😍 The host, Prashan, was attentive to the guests. He showed me to Boella waterfall which is a Very nice waterfall with several swimming spots. 😍 As it is only a 1 night stay, I could not see the other attractions in Mawanella. I shall be back to see the other attractions. I had lunch and breakfast at Mystay and they were delicious.
