Carloforte is an ancient Genovese colony on the beautiful island of San Pietro, just off the coast of Sardinia. It has clean, white sandy beaches, crystal clear waters and charming historic centres. Perfect location, sparklingly clean rooms, great breakfasts but the staff really made the whole holiday extra special. They were kind, attentive, knowledgeable and so very friendly. I lost my bag with my passport in it and they were super understanding helping me get it back! I wish all hotel staff were so invested in their guests well-being. La Giara is a recently renovated guest house in the centre of Alghero, 500 metres from Spiaggia di Las Tronas and 1.3 km from Alghero Marina. It is located 11 km from Nuraghe di Palmavera and provides luggage storage space. Free WiFi, a lift and full-day security are featured. Great stay in Alghero! We always found parking few min away, easy self check-in, everything was clean, great AC, there was coffee machine and fridge, we had very nice stay!

The property is non-smoking and is set 40 km from Tiscali. It' s a peaceful place with a wonderful area around, we regret we didnt plan more days there. Super breakfast, Franco was very friendly! We are sure we're coming back there in the future for longer period of time!
