Galaxidaki is for us the absolutely best place to stay in Galaxidi. It is placed strategically in the liveliest location of the town, yet secluded enough to have peace and serenity. The rooms on the second floor have a stunning view on the city, parts of the pier, the opposite forest and the mountains in the far. Moreover, the rooms are very nicely decorated and equiped, clean, tidy and cozy. It was an absolute pleasure spending time there. The host cared about every little detail and left in the rooms materials on what to see in Galaxidi and the surrounding area. She even left complementary welcome gifts, which is realy heartwarming. The host was also very throughtful of our privacy regarding to agree on times when to refresh the bed sheets. To conclude, being experienced travellers in Greece, I would confidently say that Galaxidaki is among the best accomodations in the country, and would be happy to spend time there again.

There is a private entrance at the apartment for the convenience of those who stay. The accommodation provides a hot tub, free WiFi and family rooms. We absolutely loved EVERYTHING about this stay. The site's photos were accurate and it was just as lovely in person. The beds were super comfy, which was SO appreciated after walking all of the archaeological sites and hills. It is a very hilly town with tons of steps! My daughter loved the loft spaces and didn't mind the ladder. One of them was very creaky, but that wasn't a nuisance. Our host was attentive and answered any questions promptly. The breakfast was provided in pre-packaged servings, which were very generous. It was nice to have the WC separate from the shower, with an extra sink. There were tons of toiletries provided and our towels were refreshed daily. The location was just a couple of blocks from the main street and it was super easy to get everywhere. While we couldn't park on site, there is lots of free parking available within a few blocks and it was nice to be able to have a car to explore the various sites. Arachova was a true highlight of your trip, and I would HIGHLY recommend the town and the Blue Mountain Guesthouse. If you stay, Jay Oh! has the most amazing mixed platter and a great outdoor seating area. We went both nights and it was one of the top meals we have had in Europe.

In the middle of a picturesque small village in the mountain you find this very welcoming hotel with a nice breakfast. The experience felt very genuine since it was a less turist adapted part of the country. It seemed to be mostly greek people visiting, and the name also indicates this, but the hostess was very nice, and we made it work even though it was apparent there is mostly greek visitors. The village also offers two small restaurants that together with the hotel breakfast all your demands. For anyone driving through greece to see ancient cities and swim in beautiful beaches, a stay here in a small mountain village is 10/10 perfect if you are heading from Athens to delphi!
