The property was beautiful and relaxing. The pool is perfect for the times we didn't swim in the sea. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the food and drinks provided were delicious and reasonably priced. Good pressure and hot water if needed in the shower! Would definitely stay again!

In reception Adri and Enrique and the night staff were really night. IMPORTANT: After doing your booking you will receive a message to confirm your booking by paying 50%+a small car tip. This NOT a scam,i checked with booking. AND if you think you are arriving late,after 6pm tell them!! There are different rules in Colombia and they can put your room as no show if you don't confirm on the day or before that you are arriving late. Totally, worth staying here!

I honestly enjoyed it so much. I even left the beach early just to relax in the hammock on the balcony and take in the quiet surroundings. The beach is a bit of a walk, but that actually made the place feel more peaceful and secluded, which I really appreciated. Breakfast was delicious, and Lina, the host, was very kind and helpful throughout my stay. Also saw many different types of birds! Highly recommended if you’re looking for a calm and unique place to stay in Palomino.

I especially appreciated the peaceful ambiance and the touches that reflected the local Wayuu heritage. The neighborhood was a true highlight—quiet yet close to everything. Just a short walk from the malecón, I could enjoy sunsets over the sea, delicious street food, and vibrant local markets. It felt authentic, welcoming, and safe, with friendly locals and a laid-back vibe that made me want to stay longer. This was the ideal base for exploring La Guajira—from Cabo de la Vela to the salt flats of Manaure. Whether you're here to relax or to adventure, this spot is a perfect launchpad. This hostel is one of the best hostels we have been on our travels! The atmosphere is so relaxed and you can have a great time there. We loved the activities like movie night or mangrove tour, parties or pizza night. The location is perfect with the river and the sea very close by. The room and facilities were cleaned every day and the chill space was really chill 😃 Every day there is food at fixed time frames and it makes people come together and it’s easy to make connections. The staff and volunteers are super nice and it was a pleasure to hang out with everyone. It makes sense that people stay here for more than a few days.
