Very nice lodge in Puerto Narino, we were staying in a double room with, comfortable bed, there are two very efficient fans and a mosquito net around the bed (we were there during a dry season so not many mosquitoes). Breakfast, simple but nice, served at a little terrace, and a small kitchen is also available. There is a nice balcony with a view to the river to chill. The staff can help you organise activities in the Amazon with their guide Alex, who took us to a nice trip to a village across the river in Peru, to see the sloths and visit a community. They have a wide range of activities, recommend informing yourself a few days before and making a plan, but you can also find something on the spot. Be advised that there are domestic animals in the gardens around so you will likely wake up early with the sound of roosters - but that is part of the experience!

There are several independent cabanas which are very spacious and beautifully decorated and have their own outdoor terraces with comfortable outdoor furniture. The room is very comfortable, the shower has great pressure, there is a large bed and a large tv screen and the fan is great. There is a pool, we didn’t use it but it looked lovely. The food is freshly prepared and delicious. The hotel is new and family run, they are so friendly and helpful. We had an early flight from the airport and they made us a really great breakfast before our departure and even took us to the airport themselves. Book this place, you won’t regret it!

Each room is equipped with a balcony with inner courtyard views. Our stay here with Leo and his wife, Elizabeth, exceeded our expectations. The rooms are comfortable and the hammocks are a great way to unwind after a long day. Leo took us on amazing adventures and when conflicts with scheduling happened, he saw to it that we were well taken care of. He speaks some English and we speak some Spanish, but it was only a small obstacle and it didn’t take away from the tours. Leo is incredibly patient and knowledgeable about the area and Elizabeth is an amazing cook. It felt like they had included us as family during our stay. Thank you for taking such great care of us during our adventure. We would recommend this stay to anyone.
