The Matterhorn Glacier Paradise Cable Car Station is a 5-minute drive away. Zermatt is a car-free resort. Very personal service from David, who welcomed us with tea and cake and helped us with local information, bus, restaurants etc. Breakfast and dining facilities were excellent and the view of the Matterhorn was unforgettable. We will stay there again.

The hotel is 600 metres from the First Cable Car Station and lies 100m above the centre of Grindelwald. Its rooms and sun terrace have magnificent views of the surrounding scenery. It also features a unique spa area in the goats' stable. The location was beyond my imagination, my room on the third floor had the most beatiful view i have ever had in any room. the room was huge, with 3 bedrooms and a large living and dining area. the kitchen was very well equiped. The breakfast was also great with many options, lacking only a toaster.

Hotel Jägerhof enjoys a quiet location close to the centre of Zermatt, a 5-minute walk from the Klein Matterhorn cable car. It has a gym and offers free WiFi.

The rooms have a flat-screen TV with many international channels. The Matterhorn can be seen from some of the rooms. The hotel was lovely, we stayed in room 101 in the building off to the left of reception and it was much bigger than we anticipated with a bath and really good decor.
