From the second I arrived to the second I left I felt very welcomed by Naomi (Owner). She’s very receptive and well informed. The pousada itself is beautiful, very well located and probably the cleanest place i have stayed in Brazil. The room is very comfortable, the bed is excellent, i had a great view with a hammock on the balcony. The air con is very good too. The communal area is clean and very functional and the swimming pool was an added bonus. I met some great people there and good friend in Naomi. I will definitely be returning soon. Oh and the pousada dog Zulu, is sooo lovely.. he accompanied me everywhere, even to the beach :) Thanks again.

Hotel Deville Prime Salvador sits in a scenic landscaped park filled with lakes and rare birds. It features a business centre, as well as 2 bars, 2 restaurants and a tennis court. This place is great, it was the best hotel we stayed in Brazil (we visited 3 different cities, Rio, Natal and Salvador). The hotel is new, the outside area in particular (pool, garden, etc) is amazing, so well maintained and nice.. The pool is huge and even if there are people, it seems still very quiet and relaxing..

The Monte Pascoal Praia Hotel Salvador is located on the seafront of the famous Farol da Barra Beach, which you can admire from the balcony of your room and from the swimming pool. The staff was the nicest and super attentive. The breakfast was amazing. The room was big and very nice, we could even see the sea and sunset from the balcony. The pool was nice too. Location was great, next to the beach and in a safe area.

Ideally situated in the Barra district of Salvador, Pousada Maria Maria is situated 500 metres from Praia do Farol da Barra, 600 metres from Barra's Lighthouse and 5.6 km from Arena Fonte Nova. The host was awesome ! As soon as he knew I broke my phone, he helped me organize my departure, sending my postcards (I couldn't do it myself as it was an holiday and I was leaving)... Breakfast was amazing and the location of the pousada is perfect (in Barra which is a safe neighbourhood + next to the sea). I'd definitely come back there if i had to go to Salvador !
