We enjoyed Gablitz with its little paths through the countryside. It was convenient to see Vienna and surroundings.

Located in Asten, only a 5- minute drive from the highway and a 20 -minute drive from Linz, Gasthaus-Pension zum Löwen offers free WiFi accessand free parking on site. The location is perfect , very near motorway. Very quiet at night. Hosts are excellent, very helpful. Room was specious, had everything we needed, even mosquito net. Very clean. Highly recommend if you need good night rest on your journey.

Centrally located in Enns, Hotel zum Goldenen Schiff offers rooms with a flat-screen cable TV, 50 metres from the city tower and next to the Lauriacum Museum. We were upgraded to an apartment by the kind owner. It was facing the clock tower on the main market square. What a perfect location to have a nice dinner and a long walk through the old town afterwards. We were thrilled to be in such an old building (13th century) with amazing history. Make sure you ask the host about his remodel. He will show you photos that are just amazing. We were very happy with the bedding, shower, and living space. Everything was very high quality. We had a safe place in the back to store our bicycles. Instead of paying the 17 eu for breakfast, I went just outside the hotel in the morning (like the host recommended) and there was a little farm market going on. I bought rolls, meats, cheeses, fruit and veggies and made our own breakfast for much less. We had coffee with us, and were allowed to get hot water, cups, plates, and cutlery from the buffet downstairs. It was a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

In a quiet location in Kronstorf on the Enns River, Thalinger Hof is 5 km from the centre of Enns and 25 km from Linz. The restaurant serves traditional Austrian cuisine, and free WiFi is available. We arrived by bicycles and it was about 2 miles out of town. However it was a wonderful stay because they have a fabulous restaurant and the night we were there two weddings were in full swing. The food was fabulous, the room spacious, clean and quiet. After cleaning up we had one of our favorite dinners on the trip. Definitely try the gröste with the knodel. Super special and will knock your socks off. The owner was so so nice - bicycles were put in their garage and we had a leisurely dinner. The owner shared their special walnut liquor with us - what a treat to learn about it and taste it. The breakfast was incredible - it had literally everything you could want. My son especially loved the scrambled eggs with ham. Highly recommend this hotel.

I have never stayed at a golf club hotel before so it was something different from the hotels I usually stay. The breakfast buffet was rich and a little healthier than a typical buffet. It was nice to take breakfast outside and enjoy the view of the golf field.
