This 3-star hotel in the centre of Arnoldstein is 10 km from Villach and Lake Faak. It offers free in-room Wi-Fi and a traditional restaurant serving Carinthian and international cuisine. It was comfortable and we loved the garden unit setting of our room. The breakfast was excellent quality with a wide variety.

The hotel is excellent, beautifully furnished, exceptionally large rooms with a spacious bathroom and lovely balcony right in the heart of Velden. The spa is very nice and the breakfast was tasty with a wide range of options available. The restaurant is very good and we ate lunch and dinner there also and it was very good. We also took advantage of the free bicycle option and cycled all the way around Lake Worthersee, a very nice trip. Expensive but standard for the location. We didn't use the lake access but were given passes if we had wanted to do so.

Everything felt well thought-out, from the practical essentials to the small touches that added to the overall experience. Definitely a place I’d be happy to return to.

It was a delight to sit eating breakfast with the windows open listening to bird song each morning. The kitchen was equipped with everything you need to make a meal including cooking oils and salt/pepper. We arrived by train and it only took 10 mins to walk to the apartment which is situated in a quiet residential area (includes parking space if required). The hosts were prompt answering any questions we had such as where is the nearest supermarket and gave us a choice of three which included directions. The shop had a gluten free section and was an easy 7-10 minute walk. The apartment was super clean, the bed comfortable and the bed linen pristine. We had a great few nights sleep. To walk into the city we took a short cut through the train station which took about 15 mins to be in the heart of the old town. All in all a very enjoyable stay.
