We really liked the friendly, helpful staff at the front desk. We also liked sitting outside in the evening around a heater and meeting some of the other guests. Very enjoyable.

Lovely property that was ideal for our group stay over the weekend. There are fun hikes to do nearby and enough facilities to get food or go out. Very spacious, clean, and comfortable house!

    It’s nostalgic to stay at Hotel Vienna because that’s where my family has stayed for decades. It’s been purchased by new owners but it still has the same atmosphere and amenities. They earn bonus points for now being dog friendly. Great location to bring your dog along with you for a little getaway. The Windham Path is right next door!

    My sister and I were traveling with a Golden Retriever. Chose this place on the basis of recommendations and because it’s pet friendly. It worked out very well for us: spotlessly clean, comfortable, and indeed friendly to us and to my sister’s big dog. Other pluses: Kind, friendly staff, and the Continental breakfast. At breakfast we especially loved the delicious croissants, which the general manager bakes fresh every morning.

    Nice place, nice location, nice little town closeby, we went for the beautiful fall scenery and to visit katterskill falls state park. But we never stayed at the hotel because they didn't disclose the extra pet fee. So they point to this little line which says "extra fees may apply ". I said ok, it "may" apply, in this case it doesn't because nobody told us about it and asked them to wave it this time. But they wouldn't and became rude with us.
