Hotel was in a fairly central area for our visit with family. Shopping and restaurants were nearby but work and holiday traffic were somewhat noticeable.

Sanctuary Beach Resort was and absolute highlight of our trip! The location is stunning, right on the beach with breathtaking ocean views and direct access to the sand. Our bungalow-style room was beautifully designed, spacious, and had a private balcony where we could relax and watch the waves. The resort’s peaceful atmosphere made it the perfect place to unwind. We loved the fire pits in the evening, creating a cozy and romantic setting. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. The on-site restaurant served delicious meals with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Pretty good value for money (in this region of CA). It looks like owners live on the propoerty, and I felt they ensured the propoerty was safe (the larger area is quite frequented by people who do not appear to have a home). It is well looked-after (continuous improvements were being done). There was even a water dispenser in the laundry room for drinking water. We enjoyed having a freezer and fridge and microwave, made it much easier to handle food-supply for our little one. We purchased a travel bed and used that during our stay. All clean and neat. I am not a big fan of carpets in the rooms, but they were fine. Hopefully they will be the subjects of improvement soon :).
