Friendly helpful host. The place was clean and well-equipped a bathroom and separate toilet. We enjoyed using the boat on the lake, the wood fired sauna. Garden with trampoline, swing, barbecue, and hammock. Elk farm and grocery shop about 10 minutes away. We were 4 people in two rooms but there is room for at least 6.

Our stay was just amazing. We really loved the spot. Our apartment was clean and cozy with beautiful view. It’s perfect place to stay with a dog. And the breakfest was just great. We can definitely recommend this accomodation.

Everything was very nice and clean. The property is managed with much engagement. The four points for comfort are caused by the fact that it is a "vandrarhem" - but that was expected and is really okay. I have my stay in good memory and will stop by again if there is an occasion. Thanks!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff was incredibly welcoming, always going above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. I especially appreciated the attention to detail, from the comfortable bed to the high-quality amenities. The location was perfect, with easy access to nearby attractions and restaurants. I truly felt at home and will definitely be returning next time I'm in town!

From the moment of arrival we were made to feel valued. Our room was comfortable and cool, which on this very hot day was a great relief. The food at supper was very good indeed, served by a charming woman who took the time to make sure all was well at each table without seeming to hurry (and carried to the kitchen our congratulations on the food), and still making sure nobody waited to be served. The general tranquillity helped us to excellent sleep, from which we woke refreshed to continue our journey after a breakfast of good quality.

Stora Hotellet Markaryd is located on Markaryd’s main street, close to Lake Getesjön and 150 metres from Markaryd Train Station. It offers a garden, terrace and a relax area with a sauna and hot tub.
