We stayed for 2 nights as a couple. Hotel Aikawa is one of the best hotels we have stayed in terms of hospitality and food. Their Manager Milan, and other hotel staff very extremely polite, helpful and efficient in their work. Food is undoubtedly a delight here. You can try many cuisine but their indian and japanese snacks item very perhaps perfect. Safari point where the inner forest safari starts is at a walking distance from the hotel. Pick and drop facility along with any activities required is all well managed by the hotel staff. Milan was extremely helpful to us in booking our activities and was a hassle free experience. Their garden is also nice to have a stroll down the park. I would recommend poeple not to think even twice for booking this hotel in Sauraha.

I had a great stay at Tara house, Such amazing kind n generous family running the house Always smiling, helpful, and just offering from the heart That's why i felt home away from home... The room is spacious and clean with hot shower. Good WiFi. I loved the beautiful green cozy garden full of ducks and chickens...so peaceful. The house located in quite area away from.the main street and the noise. Yet it's like 20 min. Walk to the main street of Saurah where many shops,restaurants. There is nearby river like 5 min walk. Almost 30 min. Walk to Saurah bus stop..or you can take a tuktuk for 200 Rupees. It is almost 30min walk to elephant breeding center Just FYI. ..If you love and care about animals, i don't recommend getting a ticket and get into the breeding center itself cuz it's truly a heart breaking seeing the poor mother elephants with their babies in chain just for the sake of the tourists to take photos and have fun.. I felt regret that i made it to the breeding center and had to watch that crime ....i didn't know that was the case Apart from that...the surrounding forest of the breading center is really worth visiting and enjoying the sunset their by the river ... Vikki can book for u Safari tours and also the bus. He arranged private tuktuk ride to 20 thousand lake for 1500 Rupees. And also booked for me the bus to Kathmandu for 900 rupees. Bishnu is the owner of the chital lodge which is a family business initially created by his grand father. With the Chital Lodge you dive into a more adventurous and unique experience of the Chitwan Park exploration. Far from the touristic area of Sauhara, Bishnu offers walk safaris and other activities. During our walk safari, we saw 3 rhinos, many birds and deers. In general, we had great moments with him and his lovely family. The food cooked by his wife is delicious and varied. If you're looking for a different and more adventurous way to explore Chitwan, while being ok with losing a bit of comfort then I would highly suggest this place! Also, it is very good value for money compared to the other hotels and resorts. Thanks again Bishnu, wishing you all the best!

The people who own the hotel and their family made me feel like home. I wasn't lacking anything throughout my stay starting from the numerous bottles of water to having pre-ordered breakfast and lunch when I did my safari to make sure I have something to eat straight away when I come back. The food was really good - if you like bananas and pancakes i can highly recommend the banana pancakes there. All the staff was really helpful and wanted me to have the most amazing time and I really appreciate that. I was also very grateful for the welcome activity when I arrived to familiarise me with the place. I had a great guide for it as well as for my Safaris. Very knowledgable and skilled people. Everybody says that Nepali people are one of the friendliest people and looking at my experience I can only confirm that now. Thanks for making me so comfortable Raj and family and I highly recommend everyone to stay at Rhino lodge.

One of the best places we stayed on my Nepal trip with me boys. Very comfortable rooms, very clean, great location and great aircon and ceiling fans which were much needed after hot days on safari/buses. They provided breakfast for good price and was fresh and great. The staff were very friendly and helpful and they have a well stocked supermarket at the front. Very happy we stayed here and would recommend to others indeed.

We felt the most welcomed by Sujan and his family. They are always there to make your stay and Chitwan experience amazing. Sorted us out for a walking and jeep safari, packed lunch for us and next day even booked our bus out of town with tuktuk pick up. The breakfast pancakes are delicious and filling. The room and bedsheets were clean, the hot water (as almost everywhere in Nepal) was a bit unreliable, but always at least warm enough for a quick shower. All in all great stay, we would come back again! P. S. The private walking tour is spot on, we saw so many animals, much closer then from the jeep.

Our stay at Sapana Village Lodge was fantastic. One of the highlights was the opportunity to observe and interact with the rescued elephants. Every morning and evening, we could watch them taking a bath in the river, and we also participated in the feeding activity in the morning. The staff at Sapana Village Lodge are incredibly nice and friendly. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and were always available with a smile.
