Lovely stay in an amazing spot overlooking Pokhara and the lake. A short walk to the Sarangkot view point and other walks along the ridge. Moti and his family were perfect hosts and lovely food. Would recommend to anyone keen for a few days away from the town hussle and bussle!

The view of the Annapurna range, right from the rooms and the open to all terrace (where one can sit, relax, and have a nice cup of tea or coffee) is amazing at the very least and we thoroughly enjoyed it during our rather short stay. The staff is particularly very friendly, helpful and knows the area very well. The place is extremely quiet compared to the Pokhara, which is just 16 km away and for us it was a very nice thing.

This is the Gem, But only who is really seeking the local experience! Very nice family, nice people, Farming and cooking by them self! Organic foods! Best place to be relax and observe the nature and live like a nepal farming family! I came for one day, extended another day! I went to school with Susan, i helped for their farming, lived with them for two days! If anyone wanted to live a Nepal village life with nice family, This is the place! Clean comfortable room beautiful view from the balcony. I stayed for two nights on my way between Kathmandu and Bardiya, and it was just the rest I needed between long bus rides. I slept like a log and had a good shower.

The hotel is situated far away from the touristy lakeside Pokhara. The view from the balcony or terrace is to die for. The common area of the hotel is like an artist’s gallery. Extremely courteous, helpful and friendly staff including the owner of the hotel, who is more of an artist than a businessman. Breakfast was healthy and very good. We had a wonderful time, felt more like a home stay than a hotel.

Nature lovers will be delighted by the abundance of birds in the area—it's a perfect spot for birdwatching! The farm is also teeming with wildlife beyond their domesticated animals. You'll often spot lizards, butterflies, and other small creatures roaming around, adding to the feeling of being immersed in nature. The apartment is exceptionally clean, well-equipped, and designed for total comfort. This was my second time staying at Gorgeous Village Guest House and it's by far my favourite place to stay in Nepal. The location is amazing, food is delicious and the family that own the property are wonderful. I highly recommend staying here and look forward to my next visit.
