I really enjoyed the staying here. Let’s start from the staff that’s really friendly and helpful. The room was quite spacious and had a very comfortable bed and a nice hot shower with good pressure. I stayed 4 nights and really enjoyed my staying there. It’s in the heart of Thamel, so close to many restaurants and shops, but it is in a quiet side road.

I had a most comfortable stay in this beautiful House & all of Hotel staff is amazingly caring and friendly! They give assistance in whatever may come up around all your travel affairs. Manager & team even guided me through my long-term visa application process. Everything is well organised, rooms are spotlessly clean & tidy. Delicious food from hotel kitchen is either catered in a lovely green garden enclosure, the lounge or served in your own room. I will always love to come back!

This is a really great place to stay in in Kathmandu. It’s very central but quiet because it’s off any of the main roads. The garden is perfect to relax in. The staff is really friendly and helped us with absolutely everything - taxis, bus tickets, a tour of Bhaktapur and Patan and they also stored our bags during our Langtang Valley Trek. The prices they charged for busses and tours were very fair. The food here is also delicious! We tried a few cafes and restaurants in Thamel but the food in Birds Nest was at least as good! We stayed here 3 times during our time in Nepal and will happily stay here again next time!

We came to Kathmandu by night bus and checking in early in the morning was not an issue at all. Very nice and helpful family. We got the room on the rooftop which is very beautiful. The bathroom seemed pretty new.

Great stay. We loved the room, the space, the really comfort bed. But most of all, what a beautiful family this is. We really loved them. They can help you with everything, from store you luggage during a trek to provide a trekking. We already booked through a other organization but next time we definitely book through them. We made friends for life! Place is really good. You can or grab a taxi to tamel or walk around. There are also some places to eat nearby but they also cook fantastic themselves.
