I loved everything about Joy Source - the delicious organic food, the stunning views, the birdsong, the atelier, the peace, the spirituality and the beautifully designed accommodation. The hotel feels so clean and has an air of relaxation about it. The family showed great hospitality, made delicious food, and we were even lucky to be invited to a dinner party with their friends and family. It was delightful to meet their elder son Sagar, who was also extremely hospitable, was a very interesting partner for conversation, speaks great English, and answered many of our questions and explained many things about Nepal that nobody else was able to explain to us on this trip.

Really enjoyed my stay at Rambler Hotel. The location is great right in Thamel but still quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful. My room was clean and comfortable. Everything was good for the price. I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed here for one night (24–25 July) and everything exceeded my expectations. The owner was incredibly warm and helpful, making the atmosphere feel truly like a second home. The facilities were well-maintained, the place was spotless, and the room was very comfortable. It’s in a great location, and for the price, it offers amazing value. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Kathmandu! And I was even provided with transportation as needed. Kudos to Mr. Deepak for managing things in simple but efficient way!!
