easy to find location, very clean and with shared facilities to make your own coffee and store food in a fridge. The hotel is a renovated old family house, done with a great eye for detail. Comments said that the neighborhood is noisy and it’s true but we asked for a room with a window to the inner patio and has no issues with noise at all. The owner Edgar and the hotel staff were so friendly, they made us feel very much at home and very comfortable.

The whole experience is wonderful and amazing! This is the best hotel I booked in México. The receptionist is so considerate. The room is beautiful and comfortable. The breakfast is delicious. They even have a WhatsApp channel for any question. If someday I go back to Oaxaca, I’ll chose Pug Seal.

This was a delightful stay in every way! The room was adorable and very spacious. The bed was really comfortable (loveddd the sheets). Bathroom was spacious and great as well with good hot water pressure, they provided a delicious chocolate body scrub and an amazing body butter, which we loved. Breakfast was really good. The balcony was really nice, great spot for people watching - felt very Parisian. Location was perfect, right in the middle of everything. Tons of small thoughtful touches throughout our stay and the staff was just lovely, always willing to help. Would 100% stay here again the next time we're in Oaxaca!!!

    Extraordinarily beautiful public space! Excellent staff. Location stellar. Dog friendly. The double bed is comfortable, there is a desk, closet and bed-side table. I was able to open my 3 windows, though they open to an internal service shaft.

    The staff was extremely helpful and kind. They were ready to answer all questions and ensure we were having a pleasant stay. One night when the cab didn't arrive, they went out of their way to drive us to a restaurant reservation showing that they can go above and beyond. Despite being a pet friendly place, once they saw how terrified I was of their cat, they did everything to help me feel more comfortable and that was enormously appreciated. Perla, Benito and another young man at the front desk were the BEST!

    Location is great! Staff and facilities top notch, pet friendly which is a bonus! Loved the little extras in the room. Although we had a small room it was perfectly equipped. Value for the basic room is great. I stay often in Oaxaca for work and decided to splurge a bit. Compared to a basic room around the area which are around $1000-$1500 in the high season, Hotel Los Amantes basic room includes a delicious breakfast and great amenities. Very much worth it. Will be back and want to check out some of the nicer rooms with bathtub!
