This place is amazing! It’s definitely the best stay for our three-week round trip . I can only recommend it. We booked a Standard double room , Which was their basic category. But it was fantastic! The room was super clean , which is not always in Sri Lanka. They had everything more than we expected like air conditioning, hot water , mosquito nets , a fan , tea coffee, and even pool towels were provided in the room. Also best value for the money. Unbeatable! The Wi-Fi was great in the room and restaurant. Pool area also had a another Wi-Fi which was good. The pool was our favorite super Large,clean like the rest of the property surrounded with nature great to relax and in the pool even have kind of jacuzzi that you can get a massage in the water :) We also booked a Half day 7 Hour safari tour through them and it was fantastic . Price was also very good compared to other offers we had . We saw many elephants, birds and many other animals . Had a great time with the breakfast inside the park .The driver explained everything to us and was very experienced. He didn’t bother animals or go with too many jeeps . If you’re going on a safari definitely go with the hotel. The owner was very friendly, professional and had lots of experience in the industry. The rest of the staff also very helpful and available always with a smile . Thanks a lot for the wonderful stay ! We‘ll definitely come back . Highly recommend this place!

It was simply precious. Private , secluded area. The owners picked us up with a jeep, organized a jungle tour for us and gave us a ride as well. The family is incredibly hard working and polite, they try their best to accommodate our wishes. The food is amazing. No AC but it wasn't necessary as it was pretty cool at night.

We liked our stay very much. Accomodation exceeded our expectations. Due to price and photos it looks very basic, but it was completly everything you might need. Garden is so beautiful, outside shower is really nice touch. You are in the middle of jungle and it really feels like in middle of jungle, but still you have all the comfort you might need. Owner of the place helped us to plan the safari trip and it was just unforgetable. Our guide was super nice and super professional. We really enjoyed our stay.

We loved our stay! The Countryside Udawalawe is a lovely hotel with villas surrounding a pool and garden, calm and relaxing atmosphere. The rooms were very nice - comfortable bed, good A/C and nice modern bathrooms. The management is amazing & organized - we had their driver bring us from Ella to Udawalawe, and then again from Udawalawe to Dikwella. The driver was great and the car very clean and comfortable. He was right on time and pointed out sites for us along the way. They also booked a private Jeep for a safari through Udawalawe Park, and they were very accommodating of our last minute change in plans. The safari driver/guide was excellent and made sure we saw lots of animals. The managers were always there when we came back to the hotel to make sure everything was going well, and we had a nice Sri Lankan dinner and breakfast there as well. Perfect location - very close to the Park and the Elephant Transit Home.

The hotel is very quiet!!! The room is clean, the bed is soft and comfortable. had a great fun experience and will definitely be going back again soon to do a safari with them which we couldn't do.

One of the best home stays I have ever been to in Sri Lanka!! The family is so kind and careing, the food is amazing and the place is just beautiful with it's quite location in nature, right next to a calm river, very quite and safe neighbourhood and in walking distance to Udawalawe City (though we didn't really feel like leaving this place as there is everything you need there :) The Safari with Pasindu was also a Highlight (I did one before but this one was the best as his knowledge and thoughtfulnes with planning the tour as well a the respect for the animals is exceptional!)
