Eventhough this property is listed in the (2021) lonely planet, it or its owner havent lost any of their charm. Flawless place with clean rooms, a decent breakfast and a superb host. Both rocks can be reached by foot and there are plenty of food optins in the area. We would come again for sure.

The place is absolutely amazing, the rooms are really comfortable with a really good lavender smell. Having a tasty breakfast with nature sounds and talking with the friendly staff was great. Very close walk to Sigiriya’s Lion Rock Totally recommend if you ever come here

The location of the hotel is good. We were happy with it because of one person, and that was Tutu, who works there. The place is very new and that is noticeable in all the details. Very spacious rooms, the AC is a blessing during hot days, the pool is new and well kept. Not to mention the location (only 5 min drive to Sigiriya). The owner is very helpful and open to feedback, he is truly interested in the guests' having a great experience. He offered us valuable suggestions for when to visit Sigiriya & Pidurangala, and he was absolutely right, so do listen to him 😁👌. The breakfast was rich and delicious on both days. The staff was attentive, so overall we had a wonderful stay. Definitely recommend!

This was a wonderful stay with an even more wonderful family. They make some amazing food! The treehouse is on their garden (but quite private at the back sheltered by trees) and looks amazing. There are peacocks and monkeys running around the garden (or close to it) which felt like a Safari on its own (they stay a good distance away so it feels safe too). They have a cute puppy on premises who likes to play. The location is super close to the centre via Tuk tuk & the treehouse is very comfortable to stay in.

This was the most fantastic experience. The best Homestay we have ever stayed. Kuru is an amaizing host, he took care of everything (literally everything), picking us up, dropping us off, giving a little tour, having a nice chat, showing around and in general this was just great experience thanks to Karu and his family. We felt like home from the moment we entered. We were planning to stay for 2 nights, but at the end decided to have one more night there (probably would have stayed even longer if we wouldn't have to move one). The food was amazing, breakfest and dinner. There's a pool just 50m from the house. If you come to Sigirya or the region, we absolutely recommend this fantastic homestay. Karu has started just recently so a nice push in the back would help him a lot. I truly believe that every guest that will enter Karu's house will feel like home and like a friend of the family. If you don't know what to do around, no problem, Karu will give various sugestions and will organize it. Besides other things we also did safari in Hurulu Eco park, which was a great success thanks to Karu's friend Patum and his brother (sorry if I spell his name wrong). We saw around 60 elephants (this of course depends on your luck and the season), drive was about 3 hours, but most importantly our driver was very respectful of the environment and the elephants. We loved every minute and hope to come again.
