Hard to find the right words to describe Ekuku.. our staying was an unforgettable experience. Situated far from the noise of the main road, Ekuku is a peaceful and chilled place, where you’ll find yourself immersed in the tropical nature and surrounded by the sounds of the jungle, just a few minutes away from the best Midigama surf spots. We stayed in the lovely left apartment for 2 weeks, enjoying the relaxed vibe of the place and the delicious food of the restaurant, a nice mix of European and Sri Lankan flavours (everything’s super tasty and we recommend not to miss the lasagna when available!). Hedi, Alex and all the Ekuku crew were fantastic, always willing to share the best tips and advices and taking care of our needs. Ekuku is definitely the place to be in Midigama, we felt like home and will be back for sure! Be sure to follow them on Instagram to get a glimpse of the atmosphere and check out upcoming events. Amazing place! Small boutique hotel 5-10 minutes outside the busy area of Mirissa. The pool/garden area is great, quiet and relaxing. Room are big, very tasteful decorated and very clean. And the staff is great! Thanks for our amazing stay at Kiss Blossom.

The host Vasitha and staff are very friendly and helpful. Vasitha even gave us a little tour (and lift) on his way to work:) The accommodation is spacious, clean and has everything you need. Breakfast is great and was different on both days we stayed - which was really nice!

Chatu and his family are so welcoming and friendly. When I was sick, they brought me herbal tea and homemade chickensoup to my room. They were constantly focussed on my needs and helped met with everything I need from scooter rental to surfboards etc. The quality of the food is really good and for a very decent price. Don't hesitate to go here

Exceptional service! What makes this hotel best in Ahangama is it's Staff first of all. The staff is extremely cooperative, courteous and understanding. They are very helpful people. The rooms itself are huge with 2 beds where minimum 4 people can sleep. The hotel is right infront of the beach. You can watch the sunrise and sunset from the hotel itself. Even more better part is it's rooftop area where breakfast is served every morning, the views are to die for. The best sunrise and sunset is what you get to experience from their rooftop. I would love to be back here again. The breakfast served was also amazing with a wide variety. Loved every bit of the stay here.

This is one of the best and most original places we have slept in. The location is perfect (it would only help if there were some signs on the main roads so that people can find the family easily), in the forest, surrounded with trees and wildlife, it was beautiful to sleep with the sounds of nature. Also, Neranga and his family are extremely kind, welcoming and hospitable. They prepared for us a real regal feast for breakfast that one cannot see in many hotels (there was a lot, everything was delicious, we ate almost the entire table), they showed us around, their garden full of interesting plants and fruits, vegetables and spices, and they also prepared small gifts for us when we were about to leave. This was truly one of the nices places we’ve stayed at. Not to mention making a childhood dream come true – sleeping in a treehouse. PS The house has everything: WiFi, hot water, AC, fridge. We loved it all. Especially the real trees with branches that are inside the house, too.
