Had all the facilities that we wanted. Outside balcony with table and seating with fan. Use of the kitchen. Free laundry. The nice chap that runs the place gave us a lift to the turtle sanctuary in his Tuk Tuk and also helped us get a reasonable price for kayak hire. All in all, a good place to stay.

What a wonderful stay I had at Villa Sandamedura! From start to finish I felt taken care of! The hosts are lovely people, they prepared delicious breakfast every morning, organized a boat trip in Koggala lake for me (which is something I totally recommend doing!), Sam was always ready to answer all my questions, and it felt like a real homestay with the right balance of hospitality and privacy that I needed. The room is big and quiet, the location is very nice - 2 minutes walking to the beach, and a bus stop right outside as well. Would definitely recommend it!

The staff Mr sunith was the kind person I have ever encountered at a hotel. He was always friendly and asked how our stay was going every time we walked in the door. Great attitude. Helpful, and always available. The bed was super comfy. I will always stay at this location when traveling to or through south.Highly recommended ❤️

Absolutely beautiful property surrounded by nature. We loved the experience of being in the treehouse and a sleeping amongst the trees. The family were incredible hosts and so attentive! They looked after us from beginning to end. Such an authentic Sri Lankan experience.

So far, the best guesthouse I've stayed in. The place is clean, the room is big and comfortable with everything you need - there’s even a kitchen & a watching machine. Also there is a nice balcony where I loved to stay!! You can sit, cool down and relax while watch the surrounding wildlife. The hosts are extremely kind and helpful. The breakfast they prepared was excellent! Truly, a perfect place to rest in Unawatuna, away from the crowds. I couldn't have wished for a better place to stay. Thank you for everything!
