First of all upon arrival to the hostel it was very very appealing from the road, I felt like I was arriving to a fancy condo in the states 🤣 Chavvy & Shailie were amazing, they made me feel so welcome that I really left feeling like I have family, from good laughs to even dropping me off at the bus stop because I was a little nervous - tremendous. I put my hammock up in the garden which the caretakers helped with & was astonishing to simply be in the amazing garden with such diverse wildlife (there was even a local peacock!) I only booked this hostel because I'm a travelling yoga teacher and needed somewhere calm to practice & teach - Alma hostel allowed me to do just that, with excellent ifi and many spaces to teach from whether the garden, the upstairs lobby/co-working space or even my room was big enough. My all time favourite thing about Alma's was the interior design - like wow. Everything was custom made with wicker/bamboo and the interior was exceptionally clean - I genuinely felt like I was crashing at my own place. Loved it so much.

This place was just a dream come true. The house is BEAUTIFUL. The staff extremely kind, the dog is a darling, the background jazz the food..!!! Everything is just wow. Can’t wait to be back or to build a house exactly like this one where i would spend my entire life hahaha! THANK YOU

Very Clean property. Massive front garden to play Badminton, cricket and football with Kids. Badminton NET, rackets, bat, ball and wickets...etc.. available. Washing machine and Iron board also available. TV with Prime Video & Premium You Tube(Add free). Fast Wi-Fi access to our phones and laptops... Overall excellent. Installed with CCTV and can monitor form Ground Floor and Upstairs monitor in the hallway. Very Safe place.

This property was perfect for our group of six. We found it to be extremely conveniently located, impeccably clean, and very comfortable throughout our stay. The availability of parking for approximately two cars (depending on their size) was a definite plus. The owners were incredibly welcoming and provided excellent flexibility regarding key collection and check-in/out procedures. We would absolutely recommend this accommodation

The interior is beautifully designed, blending modern comfort with a cozy feel. The private garden was also a bonus – a peaceful spot to relax with a cup of tea or coffee in the morning. The location is excellent, set in a nice area close to luxury hotels like Jetwing and close to many nice restaurants and places for Brunch. It’s also super convenient to get anywhere in Colombo, whether you’re exploring the city or heading out for business. The amenities were top-notch, including a 55" flat-screen TV, a well-stocked pantry with tea and coffee, and essentials like a hairdryer, iron, and ironing board. A thoughtful touch was the complimentary earplugs as I am a light sleeper. The host was fantastic – very flexible with check-in and check-out times and always responsive to any questions or requests. They truly went above and beyond to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience.

The owner of the apartment, Prasanna and Pasindu, gave us the best accommodation on our Lanka trip. The family is as hospitable as anyone can be. They welcomed us with warm smiles and went out of the way to provide excellent service. We were contacted well in advance and given a superb apartment, which comprises all that we expected. It contains a spacious living room, kitchen with amenities, and washing machine. Bedroom was spacious. We felt like home away from home. WiFi was very strong and speedy. The location of Vivas Residencies makes it easy for transportation across different parts of Colombo. On request, they provided breakfast to the room, which was very good.  The hospitality we received was similar to a star-class hotel.  It's one place we would not hesitate to recommend to someone else. Many thanks to Prasanna and Pasindu; see you soon.

I loved it! The owners are so welcoming and nice, they have very good common areas to chill and meet other travelers, as well as a pool. There is AC on the rooms so it was nice to sleep without suffering from the hot humid weather
